24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 541
24 more for me please 😊
Work, shower, meeting, bed.
Very achy after a long day beating a tractor into submission, changing various nasty rusted bearings and other stuff. Mostly swinging a hammer and it’s taken it’s toll 😂
Might be in pain but it’s honest and I’m sober, so overall it’s a good day…

Indeed.
Well done, NGB.
Thank you
Thank you for always thinking of me on my special day. Most months I forget my milestone, but today I remembered at work and so I wanted to hop on and say hello and express my gratitude.
Things are good- I am learning to ride the waves of life, so to speak. Last week I was super low but these last few days have been good. I am concentrating now more than ever on allowing myself to feel emotions without analyzing them or reacting. Just feeling them. Trusting that it’s safe to feel whatever comes up, and that these feelings always pass. I am teaching my children to do the same. It is not easy. There have been a lot of intense emotions as we all shift into a different state of being, as a family.
Anyway, I came to check in and say thank you. Thank you SR for helping me get sober, 4 years and 7 months ago. Thank you Suze for always thinking of me.
Sending you all lots of ❤️
Sunny

I slipped
Hey all
last night I slipped into my old drinking habits after 9 days.
I feel horrible. I thought I could have “one more night”. Good news is I did it on my own at a camp, so no yelling or anger at anyone, but now I feel really down and out.
Why do I feel the need to do this? If I think logically, it makes no sense!
anyway, I’m back to day one. I really want to make this work. I’ve got so much to live for. And even here at camp, I’ve got my dog with me and want to live a free and sober life while hiking etc. just want to get back to my roots where I was content and care free (mostly)
