Just like the saying goes: There's nothing so bad that a drink can't make it worse. I know how much worse it would be if I were drinking thru all this.
That's the first thing my shrink asked me after I told him my tale of woe - are you still sober? I was delighted to tell him 'yes'. So that's one thing to be grateful for, despite the pain, is that I'm sober and will remain sober, no matter what.
Also, my love for my friends here has grown exponentially. I find such support and affection here, it gives me reason for hope.
My deepest gratitude to my friends who 'live in my computer'.

I'm beginning to think I've got peipheral neuropathy in my legs. The numbness and tingling is still there, and just as bad as it was.
My lower back isn't as painful as it was so I'm thinking the surgery worked.
I have a doctor's appt Monday so will ask him about the neuropathy then.

It's comforting to know we have doctors/physicians
available to help us when in need. Lot's of folks live
with daily pain and it's not fun. But they learn how
to manage it some way, some how.
It's a "b" getting older as our bodies can't do what
it use to do back in the day. Right?
Stay in tune with doctors Least working towards
a much less pain life ahead you. Stay strong in
heart, mind and soul always.

So some relief? Is it tingling, numbness and pain? That was one of the nerves I had pinched. I remember slamming my foot on the floor because it was the exact same sensation as when your foot falls asleep and then wakes up and feels like it's on fire.
I'm glad the pain is easing up on your back, Least. And, it's also good to know that you're closer to a diagnosis, which hopefully means you can manage/be treated for the neuropathy.
