How are you feeling today, Least? Hope the pain in your back continues to lessen, and the feet improve.

My back pain isn't as intense as it was but my feet are still very numb and painful. Waiting for Monday so I can talk to my doctor about treating me for neuropathy.

The pain in my lower back is a bit less, but if I stand or walk more than a couple minutes, it gets bad again.

Yes, at my Monday appt I'll get a B12 shot. I'll make sure to schedule another one in a month. I was getting them once a month but don't know why I stopped doing that.

A good friend sent me a link to an article from the Mayo Clinic about peripheral neuropathy and my symptoms fit their description to a T. I shall discuss this with my doctor. I want my feet back!

Your doctor's appointment tomorrow for you and my
eye appointment Wednesday. I'd like to have mine tomorrow
like you just to getrdone. The waiting game is what
gets to me. However, we take it a minute and day at
a time, stay busy or occupied to make the time go by
quickly. Right?

Hoping to hear good news from your visit.

The back pain is only bad when I move around, walk or stand, but the numbness in my feet is awful. I think the procedure worked but my feet are a whole different animal. I'll be glad to talk to my doctor about treating me for neuropathy.

Just waiting for my ride to come (in an hour) to take me to my appt. Eager to talk to my doctor about my digestive problem and also what seems to be neuropathy in my legs and feet. My feet hurt so bad today. When I get to the hospital (doctor's office) I'm going to ask the driver to go in and ask for a volunteer with a wheelchair as I can't walk that far without awful pain in my lower back and feet.

I ate some breakfast but my stomach still feels empty. Hurts like it's empty too. It's growling and feeling bad. I hope my doctor can help me with those two problems.

Told my doctor of my troubles. He gave me samples of Linzess, for the constipation and prescribed gabapentin for the foot pain and numbness. 300 mg three times a day for a month. I am eager to see if it helps.

My feet have switched sides. This morning and yesterday it was my left foot that was worse. Now it's my right foot that's worse. I hope the gabapentin helps stop the pain. It's unbearable.

The gabapentin is making me a bit dizzy but otherwise, no ill effects. I just called the medical transport number and scheduled a ride to and from my follow up appt with the pain doctor. So that's taken care of.

Feet still hurting and numb, but my back pain is a bit less until I walk or stand for any length of time. If that persists, I'll tell the pain doctor about it at my appt.

The stomach ache and bloating are gone, so that's good.

I just took Billie outside for potty before the rain started. She did her thing but the walking and standing really hurts my back. It this persists I'll tell the pain doctor about it at my appt on the 9th.

Staying sober thru awful circumstances just proves to me that I can do it. I won't drink no matter what, and that's a good feeling.

Just had my home visit with a social worker/case manager from the area agency on aging and she told me of the benefits I'm eligible for, and it's a lot. The best thing is that my brother can get paid ($15 an hour) for helping me at home and taking me to the store. I'm sure he'll like that.

The lady really liked Billie and the feeling was mutual.
