Hello All,
I meant to, and practically should have, left last night but stayed so I could enjoy my 19 and 15 year old nephews. They rough housed and squabbled and got into suduko puzzles and all this was such a joy. Now we had 4 inches of snow and I don't have snow tires on so will head out with caution after checking road conditions.
Anyhow I am so so happy to be surrounded by family.

Good morning and may you all feel thankful whether you are in the US or not.
I'm up and doing useful stuff.
Family is up and discussing the type of pies to make. I'm headed over the river and though the woods . . . . well more over the mountains and through the Eisenhower Tunnel to Grandmother's house.
So finishing up coffee, then load up a bike, suitcase and vacuum cleaner. Yeehaw.

Bekind, I just looked up Eisenhower Tunnel— and found it is the highest vehicle tunnel in the world at 11,155 feet!
I learn something new everyday.
It’s FriYaY but to be honest I’ve been jumbled up all week with the days. I guess it doesn’t matter so much unless I’ve got something on or an appointment which I usually set a reminder alarm anyway.

Mags, I actually did not know it was the highest tunnel in the world myself. Wow. Thanks.
For Thanksgiving I had a sober "cocktail hour" with my nephews' Jewish Grandmother. We have joined forces to raise money for a rescue patrol that trains kids to do emergency rescue so we had a lovely time calculating ways and means. Today we will have a family thanksgiving.
My contribution to Thanksgiving will be cleaning the house so off I go.

Bekind, I'm confused, how many houses do you rent, clean and house sit and which one contains the lady and dog?
We have SNOW!, well an inch of slush really but it looks nice.

We've got snow too and it’s windy. It’s not settling just slushy.
This morning I can put my hands together at the wrist and base of the fingers and my fingertips almost touching. Still a bit bent but getting there.
