Good morning Overs

Bekind, you are a very kind and thoughtful person, just wanted to say.

I’ve a day off from MIL’s today. Her sister has been staying over the weekend and leaves late today. I know I shouldn’t but when I have a day to myself I love it. Even though I’m going nowhere, except maybe to collect a prescription, my head feels it’s having a rest. I’m truly grateful for my rest days.

Have a good day my friends and please be safe. xxxx

Good morning Overs.
Just heard that 96% of the people admitted to hospital with Covid in the UK are un-vaccinated. I understand civil rights but what about self preservation?

Have a good day everyone.

Thanks, Dee. I hadn’t thought of that - probably because this thread feels so “civilized”. Of course we want to keep it that way. I appreciate your kind and gentle ways of handling this sometimes tricky stuff.

PJ, Bekind expressed so well how I see you. I am humbled by what I see you deal with. I’m happy you are here with us

We have an awesome group here. I am so very grateful for all the help and camaraderie. It has made and is making a huge difference in my life.

Many thanks to all

Current book project is moving right along. Still several more weeks of research, but I can see it coming together.

Life will always present challenges, but alcohol will ALWAYS make it worse.

Have a Marvelous Monday, overs!

PJ, for what it is worth I am here walking the walk to the best of my abilities hopefully in concert if not exactly on the same path as any of you. It is a huge honor an help to be with you all.

This morning my sister and I bundled up my Dad up and pushed his wheelchair around his facilities campus for a couple of laps. He is a big guy so it wound up being great exercise as well as getting him out and spending time with him. I like when activities have multiple good.

Next right step as we head into this new year.

Good Morning Overs

FBL pleased you’ve got another book project on the go.

I’ve been sneezing and coughing and think it’s an allergy of some sort, I’ve had some hot lemonade with slices of lemon and dollop of honey in it. Helps a bit. (I’m covid free so far ). Some of Bil family has covid so they’re all isolating but feel as toots did, cold like symptoms.

Taking mil to the market this morning. There’s a good stall that’s been there years and does good Lincolnshire sausages and meat pies. I’ll get bird food for my feathered friends too.

Have a good day my friends. Be safe. xxxx

Good morning all,

I'm hoping to play hard with my little grand nieces today and not much else.

Onward.

It's funny when we practically congratulate folks for just having a cold. I did that to my sister in law the other day.

Finally came down with the 'Vid, but fortunately, just cold like symptoms thus far. Fortunate to have gotten my booster months ago. Secretly looking forward to some time off. Hopefully just a cold Mags.

Good to see your latest book project coming along FBL!

Best wishes all!

Star, hope it’s a mild one. hope your kids are soon better too.

Thanks Toots and Dee, I’m hoping it’s just a cold. I’ve got a few tests to go at.

Bekind enjoy time with your grand nieces.

Chances are I’ll be fine too, but I still like it when there’s that one solitary line on my home COVID test lol.
Get well soon SG
