58 degrees Fahrenheit, rained today, positively moving into the August thread, (it’s still July 31 where I live).
going to watch a movie, read, tonight.
more golfing tomorrow.
Welcome to anyone new, lurking, and those returning to give it another go. Don’t quit quitting.❤️

Good morning all. Looking for some accountability. My beer drinking has gotten progressively worse. Can't seem to go more than a couple of days without caving. Today is Day 1 of a sober, healthy month.
Welcome clear path!
Still rainy this morning.
Breakfast homemade wild blueberry muffins, bacon, real butter, and coffee. 😜
Will check back after golf.
Lots of chores today.

Your breakfast sounds perfect Free. I hope that the golfing gods were kind to you today.
Congrats on your retirement LoveHateWhine. I retired at the end of last year. Had really intended for that to be the turning point for me with the drinking. Hasn't turned out to be the case, and my four night a week habit has devolved into a seven night a week habit. It's time to get this turned around while I still have my health. Glad you're here.

I'm in for August!
August 3rd will be 8 months sober for me. That's the longest I've made it so far (this my third attempt at recovery).
Looking forward to another sober month. Sobriety feels so freeing ,I can't believe all the time I wasted on alcohol and planning everything around it.
Definitely happy and blessed to be sober!
