Class of July 2021 Support Thread Part 2
So I asked at the meeting this morning about how to go about getting a sponsor and the chair told me to call him for advice. He is what I would consider someone who knows what he is talking about and pulls no punches, I figured he is advice would be worth listening to.
Anyway he essentially offered to be my sponsor, we talked for an hour on the phone about various things and will talk again tomorrow. I feel like a weight has been lifted. At least for tonight. Day 5 almost complete.
Have a good 24.

Hooray for us! I feel good about this and proud of us all.
I have just made a list of 80's and 90's movies to watch and plan on marking a start this afternoon. Last night I picked a weird one on Netflix, Blood Red Sky. It was a dubbed, German, vampire flick and totally NOT what I was expecting! A scary, fun watch though. My cats decided to have a brawl in the middle of it but neither was hurt. One cat is almost 17 and I have no idea how he can be such a tough, active thing in his old age.
I'm planning junk food for lunch (my excuse is that I need to put on weight) and a proper dinner. Have a good day all.

Haha, thanks Venuscat but I'm enjoying inhaling nice food these past few days.
My blood tests all came back good and I am so, so, so grateful for that. Was terrified and torturing myself that they would be bad. Very lucky.
Sending good vibes to all classmates and supporters. You rock.
