Good morning everyone.
Great quote today, thank you abcowboy and Suze.
I really have to think more on how to find the opportunity in a current difficult situation (there are plenty, this is just the latest) causing tensions in the household and turmoil in my mind. (Coparenting a teen is not easy, especially as the step parent).
I guess working on compassion and acceptance, and letting go of negative thoughts and emotions would be the opportunity… (the alternative is running away from home lol).

And meanwhile I’ll commit to another 24 hours sober. And take deep breaths before I speak. And perhaps go for a really really long walk. To the other side of the country

oh wait, that’s right, I would be put in jail for that, because of Covid restrictions. So instead I will just have to breathe and walk locally while I work on letting things go. I’ve slept on it and am still upset and mad as hell so I obviously have more work to do lol.
Breathe, Willow, breathe. And definitely DON’T listen to the AV!

I will be breathing deeply and slowly, trying to stay calm and stay sober today. They are my goals for today. My mantra for today:

Breathe, calm, sober. Breathe, calm, sober….. ❤️
