Good morning Overs.
Mags, I hope you have a speedy recovery.
My bread starter didn't look 'right' this morning so I've started a new one.

Have a good day everyone.

(((Mags)))! When I broke my finger I was relieved it wasn’t my wrist. I don’t envy you. The time will pass more quickly than you realize but it will be challenging until then. For stuff like this aging sucks pond water. Sending healing thoughts to you from across the pond! *Hugs*

PJ, sorry you’re feeling awful. Fell better soon *Hugs*

Andy, I’ll try to come over later for your bread!

Hi Toots, Bekind, Least, SE, Dee, Suze and everyone

Hugs to Mags and PJ and anybody else who needs one today.

Congrats Mags on 8 years!

Am still working on the current book project. Nice to be able to take my time for a change.

Have a Happy Hump-Day, overs!

Brit crime drama- always three murders. Same actors- one time the crim, next drama a cop(per)
like their comedy panel shows- same peeps...still good, but

perhaps I could come back as one of those eccentric Brit gentleman ramblers- tweed coat with leather patches at the elbows, tobacco pipe living in an old cottage 300y old...I could walk around saying things like 'I say!', 'gosh' and 'steady on chaps'

then again maybe not- tho the cottage would be cool.

Good Morning Overs

Sassy thanks, it is a challenge but I’m adjusting.

Thanks for all the kind well wishes and 8 year congratulations. I remember when being a few weeks sober and seeing people on SR with years under their belt and wishing I could get more under mine too. It goes pretty fast when I look back though.

PJ, steady on, we don’t talk like that, golly gosh.

Love to all xxxx

Good morning Overs.
Steady on PJ, less of the old. Where's me pipe?
I'm not sure I'm making bread today it may come out as some indestructible object. Watch this space.

Have a jolly good day everyone, what.

Mags, yesterday by the time I wrote about your wrist, I forgot to congratulate you on 8 years! So, big congratulations

PJ, that sounds like fun - if Andy is going to join you, maybe we can have the whole group join in

Andy, why would your bread come out as “some indestructible object???

Hi to all and have a great day

Because, another name for sourdough is slow dough and I'm making it a bit too fast. We will see if it works.

Peej, I lived in a 400 year old house, was originally two cottages that were combined, it was made of wattle and daub ( basically sticks and cow pooh) covered in a thick coat of plaster. Will probably outlive some of these modern homes! Issues included low concussion-inducing beams, small (taxed to the max at time of build) windows, huge spider hang outs and not a straight line in the place! It was cool in summer, warm in winter ( once we added central heating) and a lovely quirky place to live. My current house is a mere 120 years old!

Andy, do you have enough door stops?

Mags, I too remember looking at those with years to their sobriety and thinking they were in the realm of gods! Never imagined myself becoming one of them! ( long term sober, not a god!!)

Have a good one everyone

Morning all. I'm helping my Sister with her grandkids and trying to work on some of my Dad's bills and house needs.

Still have sciatica but it continues to be livable if not a great thing.
