Thanks everyone! My brother called Mom, so she's relieved that he's okay. I call her every single Sunday and sometimes during the week as well. I still have a feeling that something is going on with my brother, but it's up to him to tell me about it. I still see Fran a few times a week. She's mostly in good spirits, but realizes she will never walk again.

Have a Wonderful Weekend, overs!

Good morning all,

I'm up and sort of at 'em.

As always I struggle to stay positive about myself. I have so many projects, organizing and house cleaning to do and feel like a make little to no progress. I try to focus on what I have done: planted a couple of perennials, sat with a disabled neighbor, took my meds, talked with someone about rentals, and of course, didn't drink.

Okay to do Today: Call pharmacy about meds, look for bike repair in next town, look for vacuum repair, buy thread for 1880s dress (flat line skirt), email water and sanitation about getting a bill for taxes, fold laundry.

I think if you had all of your posts or to-do lists from September alone, you would see how much you actually get done. It is a lot. s xx

FBL, pleased your brother rang your mom. I hope he is ok and also if he isn’t I hope he reaches out to you or someone soon.

Purps, my black cat Missy (well she’s not completely black with her white socks and tie) she gives me daggers when she looks at me. If she could talk I think I’d know what she said.

Bekind you’re doing great girl

Good Morning Overs

Purps I’ve not heard of tuxedo kitty but yeah that’s a good name.

I started on my prescribed rescue steroids yesterday and feeling a bit better. Which means I’m going to go for a walk further than my back garden today.

Have a great Sunday my friends xxxx be safe. xx

Mags, sounds risky to be around our furry little carnivores when we run out of their food! Hope you’re feeling better very soon I am up early again today. My sleep is more fragmented than usual.

FBL, I hope your brother is ok and am glad to hear he contacted your mom.

Bekind, I agree with Suze - you do get a lot done. The past few days all I’ve managed is to set up and switch to a new cell phone and decommission & return the old one. That used to be easy but it’s getting harder these days.

Andy, thanks - I can use a especially today!

Have a good Sunday to all

Good morning Overs.

I have some sunscreen that is in stick form and shaped exactly like deodorant so on occasion I wind up applying sunscreen to my armpits. Such started my morning . . .. .ah well . . . if that is the worst thing that happens to me today, I'm in good shape. It did give me a giggle.

Today I'm hoping to figure out a form my financial advisor sent me. Irk. Finances are not my thing at all. If I can get a bit figured out I will reward myself with time using a chainsaw.

Good Morning Overs

Toots hope all ok, I saw fires on the news in Spain.

Sassy hope your sleep pattern gets back on track.

Bekind please take care with the chainsaw.

Off to physio today. I bought some therapy balls for my hand to use at home. They range in different firmness. I’ve started on the softest one to begin with and it seems to be helping.
I can’t make a fist or straighten my fingers yet but I can separate my fingers slightly which I couldn’t do last week. Progress. I think I’ve gone past my fear that I’m going to break or snap something inside my hand/wrist I also exercise with my other hand at same time to give it support. It seems to help.

Have a Mindful Monday my friends xxxx

Mags we are ok where we are, though we do occasionally get wild fires in our vicinity. Sadly one of our local fire fighters was working a fire elsewhere this weekend and died in it.

Hug those you love, life is short.
