24 hour Recovery Connections Part 527
Good Morning Folks. 24 more hours please. I will not drink today.
I keep thinking about the nests that Abcowboy found. A couple of weeks ago my rear neighbor cut down a section of hedge between our properties. I had customarily seen cardinals in that section and placed a birdbath nearby. I also suspected the cardinals might have had a nest there. Since that hedge section is gone, I haven’t seen any cardinals. I’ve also seen a rabbit on several occasions hopping around the bare spot, so I wonder about the rabbit too and possibly babies. 😢 I’m glad you’re looking out for the critters Abcowboy. 🤗.
Wishing all a happy, sober Friday.

I'm happy to report that both mamma ducks are happily sitting on their nests even with their new surroundings lol. We do the same thing when we're in the field seeding @Rar . If we come across a goose or duck nest, we seed around it. And that's not always an east feat with 76' of air drill! The farm boss even shuts the spray off when he's spraying the field for weeds if the eggs haven't hatched yet so as not to get any chemical on the nest or eggs. I'm not sure if it would be that big of deal to anyone else, but to me it is. I just cant imagine what the mothers go through if they are searching for something that isn't there anymore! My yardwork isn't that important that it can't wait till the eggs are hatched!
