Morning x sry never got back on yesterday, was totally knackered from work x
day 4 and its the weekend so going to have to work hard in not letting any demons in.
good job on day 2 FF you can do it hun xx
ur the same as me citrus i was on day 3 and good job on having AF day last month, more than what i did, but im going to get and try to do whole month AF, as my alcohol councillor said to me when told him last monday, even if i fall for couple of days in the month is better than me drinking every single day! but going to keep it to the day and use my toolbox when i need it x

not sure whats on the cards today as its going to be cold here and still in lockdown, only thing i can do is prob go to shops lol for food, nvm hairdressers open up on monday and got my appointment booked for next sat to get my hairdone! cant wait!

Day 6. Lots of social drinking around me this week, but it's not so bad. A couple of moments where i said no thanks and they still made me a drink, but I'm really not even close to thinking about drinking. I'm sure those thoughts will come soon enough. Went and bought a gazebo today for our back patio, so lots if prep work to keep need busy. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Hey guys, just checking in. Still sober. Just visited my parents and was offered a beer by their alcoholic neighbour, but I refused it. He kinda mocked me for drinking Pepsi, but I just sort of felt sorry for him. Hope all of you guys are doing okay, hang in there.

Hello all,
end of day 3 today. We made it through. Energy dwindling down earlier than I cared for this evening and still having hard time sleeping but grateful for SR. Practicing getting things done without overthinking. Also trying new things that I would be too fearful to do while drinking. Why not? I ask myself, I'm supposed to enjoy sobriety, right? I welcomed those experiences today; and they became so much more meaningful and enjoyable. Big hugs everyone! Happy to be here and joining Class of April!

well i got to say i did fail yesterday and ended up drinking due to boredom, so it would of been day 5! but nvm im here posting and back to day 1, i will get this, least i had some days AF but back at it again.
I guess it being quiet in here, everyone is bz with easter x hope to see how everyone is doing and hey FF well done in another day AF xx thanks also dear venuscat hun x will be back later xx

Good morning on day 4. It's a beautiful day today in Ireland.
My sister and her family are coming for dinner. I just want to hide in my room but I suppose I should wear something nice and try to be social.
My hand is almost healed after some drunken self harm. One finger has deep wounds so still needs to be dressed but the other two are fine. It's not sore so that's a blessing. I really can't black out again. I don't know what I'm capable of. And drinking always leads to blackout.

Happy Easter to those celebrating. I’m cooking a ham for the first time in years. My kids don’t like it, but my husband and I do. My daughter isn’t here and hubs will grill a burger for the boy. The leftovers will provide lunch sandwiches for hubs for the week, lol. I made a gorgeous cheesecake, swirled with lemon-blueberry compote. Yep, I’m bragging about that. 😊
