Thanks, Dee! I may not often say so but I so much appreciate all you do for us and always enjoy hearing your thoughts.

Bekind, an 1880’s dress - wow!!! That sounds challenging.

It’s just freezing here (32 F) and with beautiful sunshine. That certainly lifts my spirits.

Have a gorgeous Sunday to all

Ha ha. Almost made it first I’ll count it as close enough being in the last time zone

V - thx for the reminder. I went to bed early the last two nights and it’s helped.

FBL - checking in on your commitment to better health - you mentioned parrellels with sobriety, and I wanted to check in to support you on that path (IE no pressure).

Bekind - preps have always been the hardest for me.

V - solidarity. No junk food (or cookie dough) here. Hope you feel better soon.

bekind - my comment probabky didn’t make sense. I meant prepositional phrases in a foreign language are always a challenge.

We have newish carpet and so far I’ve kept it clean. I was nursing BB and in walks hubby carrying SisK “who doesn’t feel well” from the vinyl, easy to clean kitchen floor to the carpeted bedroom. She burbs and I could just tell what was going to happen next (vomit) so I told hubby to run to the bathroom, but he panicked and wasn’t so fast. Luckily just made it into the bathroom.

Really!?!?! Did you need to bring the sick kid onto the carpet!?!? ha ha.

gotta go clean up...

Leakey life forms: puppies, babies, old people. Yep, carpet is not a great thing.

It has been snowing sideways all day. I'm guessing we are up to a foot of snow but it is tough to tell as it is drifting so much. I marked the occasion of a big storm by taking a long nap. All of this precipitation is a good thing for us as we are usually so dry.

Happy Pie/Pi day all! 3.14.

Lost my post, twice.
Mags, glad your shots went well
Bekind, Snow finally stopped I'll be snow blowing and going in the AM. Happy Pi day backatcha!
FBL, no longer a morning person am I. So you go ahead and be one for me too.
Sassy, so glad your staff kept you guys safe and you stayed in parameters too. I can't wait to see your quilting collage quilting pics.
Suze, I'm glad you are not waiting any longer for your vax shots. Neither of us had anything more than a slightly sore arm the next day for both of us with our Pfizer shots. Hope u do 2.
Dee, thanks bud! Avalanche warnings all around us in the Springs. The blizzard is over. Quite a bit more snow this year than last. We get snow twice more this week. I love it. It reminds me of growing up in Connecticut.
I missed some but I want to post before I lose this one too.
Nite all.

Hey overs! Hi from blizzard central!
Mags,
I'm glad glad your shots went well! Happy mothering day!

Bekind,
Yep we had snow sideways all afternoon but it's calmed down, but still snowing. I-25 was closed between us and you since last night. I think we got more snow for once than Denver. Drifts definitely. Just said we're done so in the AM it's blowing and going snow.

Suze,
I'm glad you're getting your shot/s too. I had zero side effects. I don't count the mild sore arm.

Sassy,
I'm glad you have nice weather along with our buddies across the pond. I can't wait to see pics of your work. It sounds great although I wouldn't know a binding sleeve from a record sleeve.
More importantly I am glad you are safer, and feel safer. My hat's off to your staff and administrators there for keeping you safe too!

FBL,
I am no longer a morning person. I'm more a nooner person.

Good Morning Overs

SE, aww, hope sisK is soon better.

Suze, it’s great you don’t like junk food, or your body doesn’t like it. Much better to eat healthily.

Itchy, I didn’t think I’d still be a morning person when I stopped work but here I am! Was up at 4 am today and most days, if not earlier. I don’t see midnight very often though.

Oh gosh, I’ve just seen pictures of Colorado on our weather. Plenty of snow. Keep safe Itchy and BeKind.

Well, it’s definitely light here now. I need to repot some tulip bulbs I bought. They’ve grown a lot since I bought them.

Have a mindful Monday my friends. Take care. xxxx

Yesterday was my 8 year soberversary!
I spent it painting the ceiling. Today I will be painting walls. Hopefully then I can move back into my own bed, the spare bed is awfully hard and with my painting aches I struggled to sleep last night! I will still have the glossing to do but can keep the bed away from the wall far enough to paint. The reason behind this activity is we have just had sliding mirror doors put in, replacing old bi-folding doors, we also ordered som new matching furniture as my chest of drawers finally gave up the ghost when bending moved. It is currently sitting at a slant in the hall! Sadly although the bed and bedside cabinets will arrive this week, the new chest of drawers will be a blooming 5-6 week wait!

SE I hope little K is ok after her barf-fest I remember picking up a puppyMolly and running to the tiled kitchen when she started heaving!

Sass once you've taken a photo http://photoposting.is-great.net is brill so easy even I can use it!

FBL hows the weight loss going? I've stalled.

Hope the snow doesn't bury you Itchy and Bekind!

Suze, Dee, FK et al

I remember getting a 4 yo out of his bed and to the bathroom where he chanted "I don't want to be sick! I'm not going to be sick!" between each retch. Poor mite.

Congrats, Toots! 8 years is HUGE!!!

Suze, I'm envious that you have a built-in, anti-junk food mechanism. I'm actually surprised how much I'm not missing my junk these days. Although I must admit that I do daydream a bit about having a whole pizza and/or a huge double-cheeseburger! However, I know that can be a slippery slope, so I don't follow through on it.

Speaking of health, I'm now down 32 pounds! I'm slowly but surely moving from the obese category to the overweight category.

Looks like 2-3 inches of snow is headed our way tonight. Sure beats what they got in Colorado.

Have a Marvelous Monday, overs!

Congrats on 8 years, Toots!

FBL, I need to follow your shining example!

Another downside of carpets: pet accidents. Happens here in the hallways way too often.

Bekind and Itchy, I saw in the news that you are having lots and lots of snow.

Hi PJ!

Hi Purps, Dee, Andy, Mags, SE, Suze and anyone I missed!

Have a lovely day
