Class of March Support Thread 2021 Part One
I'm here to show support for March. I was thinking about the idea of "herd immunity" today and how this group support is sort of like that -- more protection, more help, more safety in this daily bubble of connection.
I finally got a month AF by never skipping a day of Feb class and showing up no matter what, hard days, easy days, boring days. It helped me be more honest with myself and I tried harder to make it work. Thanks to a lot of great role models here at SR and the peer support. Learning about the Addictive Voice has been very helpful too. I'm currently reading the book to learn more about it (Rational Recovery).

Just opting in to welcome everyone to the March class! Whether you are starting this journey for the first time, or resetting and starting again, welcome! SR is an incredible place, and is the reason I have five years sober. I remember that day one ( actually, the MANY day ones), but the last one I knew I was be with alcohol, and life is so much better.
Looking Forward to supporting all of you in your journeys!!

Good afternoon. I have been struggling on and off for a long time. Need to make March a dry month.
I have an older sibling who is in the hospital going through DT's. His outcome will not be positive. It is very hard to see him at this stage. The person who he was has disappeared and all that remains is the addiction. Is is hard on al the family and I see myself in him. I DO NOT want that outcome.
