24 hour Recovery connections part 518
Hello my SR family I'll have another 24 hours please.
It's the 1st and I'm always honored to share this day with my sober twin Delilah and of course Coldfusion! Thank you sweet Suze for keeping track of all of us!
Love today's quote Bruce, many thanks to you & Suze!
Speaking of getting things done, I finally took down my outdoor xmas lights. They were so pretty and cheerful but it was time. I was the last holdout on the block.
Wishing everyone a peaceful & sober day or night with love.....xxxx

9:44 pm and checking in for another 24. It had been a good start to the week, many people at my work are getting notified that they can go get their first vaccine, a bunch went today, and more will throughout the week. I was able to get my first dose on Friday, and I feel like there isn’t a light at the end of the tunnel!!
Things here are good. Last week was a little crazy, and expensive. My dog needed surgery, and then we had a plumbing issue, thankfully my puppy is recovering and the plumbing issue, though expensive, seems to be resolved. I have been working on saving money, and will continue to do that. After having messy finances for a lie, partly due to poor choices, and partly due to job loss and disability we are finally back in s place where I feel like I can breathe. I have two going to college in the next two years, but working on a plan for that, and thankfully my oldest will have tuition covered but scholarship, and she’s working on some others to try to cover room and board.
I hope everyone here is doing well. Congrats to all celebrating a milestone, especially my sober twin Bandi ,I am happy to celebrate with you!
❤️Delilah

Checking in at 11:35 am for today. I pushed through my to do's yesterday and even walked the one hour to my old apartment and back, made dinner and then crashed. I don't know what's going on but it feels like my body is giving me a big stop sign lately. Since last night I am so dizzy that I can barely navigate around the house. When I sit still it is manageable (but annoying) and as soon as I move I almost fall over. Last week I already lost my hearing on one ear for an evening. It came out of nowhere and then was better the next morning so I hoped it would be better the next morning this time too.
I’ll be needing another sober day. It’s supposed to crack 40* Fahrenheit today. Wow! A heat wave!
Fishing season ended yesterday. The lakes are clear of all the ice fishing houses and, look just beautiful now. Best of all it’s really quiet. Serene and peaceful.
Let’s all make today a sober day!
