Good morning all. I'm with itchy waiting for our storm which is fun. It is arriving a bit later than predicted. All we have so far is a drizzle.
A technical climber once said that when you are climbing you keep your mind focused in a four foot box; this is another way of thinking "one day at a time.". This helps me get through the days when they are long or the depression hits.
So within my four foot box right now is: check the bodice lining (Sassy I have my ongoing project of an 1880s dress I'm making), read 5 pages of my book, do a por/para exercise (Spanish preposition) and get back into Turbo tax.
Autumn, maybe old us will get to fall madly in love when we are in the nursing homes. My Mom sure fell back in love with my Dad. She would say, "I want to be with HIM. I want to sleep with HIM." We all laughed at the family old folks not the teenagers running off with each other. Life sure has its moments of comedy.
