Been saying fourth step prayer @ roommate coz of lower back injury I still have three yrs later!!🤬 Anger & resentment isn’t stuff I normally struggle with, but holy cow lately it’s been a challenge. Problem isn’t that there’s no work for me to do, it’s I show up @ interviews holding a cane & I'm immediately written off! Ughh

Checking in just in time! I logged in earlier today but got distracted by my dogs and then the dishes, and then...well you can probably figure out the rest.
One of the "and thens" was my pantry doors. For some reason, my attempts to repair things around this house never go smoothly. I thought I fixed them, but when I hung them back up today, it appears one of them is splitting on the bottom and it won't stay in the slot. Now I have to nail or glue the pieces together but that's tomorrow's job.
I'm getting a bit tired so I'm going to wrap this up!

Late check-in....or is it early? Pardon my confusion...I fell asleep for a while and thought I was dreaming about people looking for a cat....then I was wondering why the people were talking in my room....then I realized the neighbors were right outside and I had left the windows open.....guess I'll try to go back to sleep

8:31 pm in California and checking in for another 24. It’s a rainy day in California, which is nice for a change. One of my daughters came in and asked me if I wanted to go for a walk in the rain with her, how do you say no to a walk in the rain with your teenager?! We did a really hilly three mile walk and managed to splash in quite a few puddles along the way, she has swim early tomorrow morning, so I think I’ll go for another rainy day walk, this time just me, my podcast, and my thoughts.
