This year has been tough, big time....I know a lot of friends who have struggled.
The great thing is, the support here never goes away, no matter what is happening.

First day of summer....a great time for new beginnings. xx
Also interesting for this Aussie who found herself buried in snow today.....well not buried, but boy did it snow.
I will hear always hear Bing Crosby (in my head) when the snow starts.

Oh my gosh.....a sobriety plant....what a wonderful idea.
When we get a big snowfall I will do a video for you....

It makes us hate ourselves.
It amplifies all of the bad stuff.
But it is a lie.
You are a lovely person.
With a lot to offer and a wonderful life in front of you. xx

Hi and welcome sodasoba and puck as well and anyone who wants to get sober this month and wants support for it.
Puck - if you didn't want to be sober you wouldn't be posting right now.
All those changes you want can happen, in time and with sobriety...but drinking makes change very doubtful.
Its a leap of faith to stop using our crutch, but it's the crutch keeping us in a bad way.
We started these threads for support - you're not alone in your fight and we do care
Why not lie down for a bit - maybe drink some water like Suze said instead of drinking some more booze?

Good you are still here......you were doing v well in Nov. You can do it, have done it...and hang in here and we will all do it again.
Like you, I drink to fill the holes in life left by ppl who aren't around anymore. Understand where you are coming from.
