It depends.....if we were normies, wanting a glass of wine after work can very much be a habit.

But if you are me, or like me, that is not the truth.
I wanted 1-2 bottles of wine please.

Way to go Lixie! A massage sounds absolutely wonderful. I think I am going to have to have a big hot bath tonight.

I've been tackling the laundry that had started to pile up. It is so much easier with the kids out of the house! It is sleeting here, I'm starting to wonder if they will call off school soon.

And you're right Venus, 1 or 3 glasses wouldn't work. It would be 1 or 2 bottles. I had a pint of sparkling water and homemade fish pie.

yes it does Venus, thanks but I'm so scared I will feel like this every night. worst time of year for me the clocks went back last night so it is dark about 5pm

I get that.....for sure....Aussie in America....I lost hours of light/day and oodles of sunshine.

So we will do this again tomorrow and every day that you need to until you feel stronger.
Fear shared is fear dissipated....well, it works that way for me.

I'm only on day 9, but i have to believe anything we do moving forward not drinking, has to be better than going back. We just have to learn new healthy habits and replace the old ones. Hang in there and keep posting.

Lixie I love lavender and epsom baths.

My daughter just arrived home with her dog in tow. Lord help me. I don't have drinking thoughts, yet... but dang. I felt the stress mount the moment she walked through the door. I love her so much, but this is a super duper hard period with her. Its so hard to be firm or try to tell an adult what you think the should do.... but she is living under my roof. And right now she is making some dumb choices and it is has effects on the whole house. Not to mention her attitude.
Sorry for the rant! Good to get that out. Just made some calming herbal tea.
