A Happy Saturday and 24 more for me, please.
Fall front came down and it is f-f-freezing. I have the windows open and shorts on. Feels so good to be cold after the long Texas summer ..hooray! 💃

My friend died this morning. He came off his motorbike and died instantly. He was 44 years old and had two children in the same classes as two of my children. I'm so devastated for his family and I must admit that this has shaken me to my core. I see him every morning when we drop our children at school. I've seen him every morning for years. The finality of this, the suddenness, the fact that his future was snuffed out in a matter of seconds.... It's shaken me. I was literally shaking earlier and I thought, 'I need a shot of something... To steady my nerves'. Further proof, if any is needed, that my AV will never give up. Not ever. And it will capitalise on any moments of weakness. I don't need a shot, how would that help? Life can be so tough sometimes and other times, it's wonderful. And it's always short. Life is too darn short. Far too short to waste precious moments drinking. 24 more for me please xxx

Gonna need 24 please....apologies for my absence.....taking care of brat cat at my mom's while she's away....Wifi doesn't always work there w/ my laptop, so hauling it over there can be a PITA.
