Hey everyone - hope you all had a good Friday, or will have a good Saturday!!
Kind of reg day here. My mood has been on the upswing the last few days - in no small part thanks to SR, I'm sure. I did get some yard work done and we had little visit from the Bobcat that shows up once in a while. He/she is very cute, but we all keep our distance
Looking forward to a quiet evening. I've got a bacon cheeseburger from Chompies for dinner. Don't hate me (or judge me!!). Haha.

I drove for hours yesterday. Grief about not seeing sons (saw one recently- at random) and pain. Helped a little. I know- logically I need to let go- accept, move on. Tell the emotions that. Still grateful for life.

PJ, I hope things have picked up for you the past couple of days.
Pretty normal stuff here. I'm still being mindful of my sobriety - I guess that never stops. Very happy to continue to be sober - the alternative is certainly very bad, regardless of what my addicted brain tells me from time to time
We're trying to figure out what, if anything, we do for Thanksgiving this year. It's my favorite holiday - Christmas without all the commotion and stress (probably says more about me/our society than anything else)!!

I'll be at my mom's for Thanksgiving. It will be small and different. We usually have around 50 or so relatives. Not this year. It will be pleasant, I'm sure, just different.

(Waiting here as well, not sure for how long though....will need to move onto fixing up my house to distract myself.
It is definitely good to be able to walk again, that's for sure).

New laptop speaking...got a good deal. The old guy who served me would be the sort who should be running an old fashioned general store. He was slow and methodical in packing up the laptop (last one- demo model) and stopped to explain every last detail of what he was doing, to make comments on the store- on everything really. It was nice to see. This one is a lot faster and has the added advantage of not have been dropped.
