What. A. Week. One of the most crazy weeks of my life. I made it through but had challenges and major hurdles everyday from 4am to sleep everyday. From kids not behaving to not doing their school work to trying to teach video conferencing to people who really fear technology I realized this Week I have truly Become a mom at work too, constantly reminding people of their deadlines to me. I’m never a micromanager but if I ask for things Wednesday at noon and it’s Friday at 4:57 and I still don’t have them, it makes me very upset to chase down. Long rant, but the worst is coming this week.

husband had to have emergency eye surgery yesterday. We had to bring the girls with us. I was trying to work from the lobby and keep the girls entertained in a hospital. He cannot see very well right now and is still in some pain.

out butterfly hatched out of her chrysalis yesterday and stayed in her little cage but we put her in the garden last night. She’s absolutely stunning and the girls were so excited.

i will be working most of the next 7 days as we count down to the strategic planning meetings that I’m hosting all next week.
