Class of March 2020 Part 7
We would normally no drive to Florida but with COVID thought it was safer. This also allowed us to bring things for our kids houses that we wouldn’t be able to do when flying. We are driving 2.5 hours south to West Palm Beach tonight. I really want to make a trip to Miami while I am there because it is only 70 miles away. Miami is a different world altogether and a fun place to go to.

So, of course I had to look up the year agadoo was released - 1984. I was 5 but there is something about that song etched into the soul of every Brit
When I die I'll take that song with me in my head. That is frightening
Oh.....guys.....put me out of my misery Please explain....don't make me google....well I did already and still missed the boat somehow.
EDIT....looked it up again. I see now. Sort of. I will never listen to a song voted the worst pop song in history though.

I wake up every morning between 4-5am, and therefore cannot stay awake much after 9.30. I think I'm getting the sleep my body needs, but I'm going to try to shift my sleep patterns back by an hour or so. Trouble is - I physically can't stay awake in the evening to do this!
First world problems
When I woke up this morning - no hangover, no sweats, no fuzzy mouth - I thought to myself - 'This is how normal people wake up'. I still view no drinking as a novelty and it surprises me to remember that it's actually the normality for almost all the world

I remember having that same conversation with my partner, I had the sense of that that was just how 'other' people lived their lives - I quickly opened another bottle before getting too wrapped up in that thought (as soon as the clock struck midday!)
I will be spending the majority of the day in bed today, night shift awaits...

Thinking of waking up like normal people, hangover-free and not feeling shaky, with a racing heart, a heavy head and dry mouth. It’s so good waking up like normal people. It’s also good to remind myself of how awful I felt when I woke up after drinking, because I forget how awful it was. It really was dreadful. I don’t want to feel that dreadful awful post-drinking feeling ever again. The after effects of drinking are abysmal.
And another thing is going to bed like normal people, not feeling really heavy headed. Not worrying about trying really hard to not breathe wine fumes on my partner. As if I could stop breathing. I remember trying to hold my breath, and face the other way, as if that would have stopped the smell of alcohol on my breath. Normal people don’t have to try not to breathe..... every night.....
I’m going to bed now like a normal person now. And it’s so good
Night everyone
I hope you get a good sleep before night shift Billy x
