Thanks all for the well wishes: apparently they’ll look at releasing me in 2 days if I keep behaving haha!! Vo- I had a liver resection this time round. With my first diagnosis a couple of years back they did a bowel re-section and then I had the reversal after I was out of the woods. That’s not really an option any more as it’s the metastasis thats the problem. This time the main concern is the liver so they’ve chopped out some nasties, and then they can look at doing SIRT Which I believe is radiation straight Into the liver.. they can do so much now.. I am so lucky to be sick now and not 20 years ago. I’ve been told It will be life long treatment for me now but If I get extra time with my gorgeous boys I’m ok xx |
