Good morning everyone. In about 12 hours I will hit 3 weeks alcohol free. Physically I'm feeling great and during this three weeks (except for the first 3-4 days) I've been in a good spot mentally. Yesterday evening and this morning I've just been grumpy though. Not exactly sure why, just little stuff really bugging me. I keep reading about how when you start getting some time under your belt emotions that you had been suppressing start bubbling up. I hope that's not the case, I was enjoying cruising along in a feel good mode. I'm hoping it's just residual fatigue from a long week last week and the prospects of another busy week this week. Trying to find those positive thoughts.

In for another 24.

My alcoholic son called this morning and his alcoholic wife is going to rehab today. This situation makes me know once again why I have been sober 3+ years and why I don't miss those crazy days of my past! Like all of you I'm sure, there have been some real humdingers! So with that I will gladly do another 24 clean and sober hours please. And thank you all for being here every day!

hi, in my early months i wrote a little those feelings, I talk to some old timers sober people, I came here a lot went to AA meetings. Because those emotions bubble up and I didn't want to end it up drunk.
you are not alone in this sober journey.
