8am in the UK and i'm on day 6. It's been a really tough week, I was a mess at the start of it, but now my sleep and calmness is returning. It's a time to be kind to myself, so i'm having a lazy morning watching The Avengers in bed

Just noticed I signed up for 34 yesterday 🤣🤣.
Happy bunny here - one current landlord reference away from being offered a new flat. No more sleeping in the sofa. No more leaking ceilings. No more noisy neighbours (managed apartment block).
Plus seeing child and their fiancé in 2.5 hours time.
A big fat 24 for me please.

I’m So sad to read about Chadwick Boseman. RIP
He was only a year older than me and sounds like he was diagnosed at a similar time. He was also diagnosed stage 3C and progressed to stage 4.
Bowel/ Colon cancer is no longer just an old people’s disease.
Another reminder for everyone to get medical checkups and go to the doctor if anything changes.
My fb support group if full of people my age and younger who are on this bowel cancer journey..
im feeling ok.. I’m a bit more coherent tonight, and hopefully I’ll be allowed home towards the end of next week x
