Thank you for what you do. Without you, many more would lose their battle.

Pretty sure today is my 7th day of no alcohol!

Edit: Day 8! 😂

I'm going to celebrate by visiting my son, daughter-in-law and precious granddaughters!

I hope everyone finds some joy today 😘
Well, done, optimist. So pleased for you.

Another 24 for me.

This morning Mrs sent me a link. I watched it and it brought tears to my eyes and hope to my heart. It is some very amazing editing but has a powerfully awsome message. The visuals and words are really inspiring. Highly recommended - https://youtu.be/WA4dDs0T7sM
Thank you, Charon. Powerfully positive message.

I'm at the seaside!!! So happy. Beyond happy. I've been here for 3 hours and already the sea air has worked it's magic and I'm ready to fall asleep. What is it about sea air? I live and work in a city and in a city I can stay awake for hours and hours but as soon as I get anywhere near the sea and hear the sea gulls.... That's it, snooze time. Regardless of the actual time. Genuine question now for people who live near the sea..... What is it about sea air? And if I live by the sea (which one day I pray I will) will I get used to the sea air and manage to stay awake or will I keep nodding off in the middle of conversations? Anyway, for now I'm going with it.... I know I'm tired so I'm letting the sea air do it's thing and tomorrow I'll awake to the sound of sea gulls. In this crazy world, I'm carving myself a slice of happy and I'm going to enjoy every single moment. Because we never know how many moments there will be. Love to everyone and 24 more for me pleazzzzzzzzzz

It's the salt.....spend enough time on the beach and you will smell it in your hair and feel it on your skin.
It dries, and then you feel like you have been perfectly cooked ❤️

PS....Jealous. I miss this. Can't believe I left that life.

Hola all. Checking in for another sober twenty four hours. Earlier for a change. Ten after five. Wish I was at the beach too! It’s been about ten years since my last vacation. Ugh

Hi everyone
I’m here for another 24 hours please.
I have lived near the sea all my life and I love it. It’s infused into my soul. I don’t think I could live away from the sea for too long. I tried it once and I was utterly miserable. I find the sea air invigorating. I can fall asleep laying on the beach, or I can go for long walks, it supports whatever I need to do ❤️ I am blessed to live here and very grateful.

. What is it about sea air?
Negative ions, I expect. They're beneficial
