24 more please. Getting a retainer today that I will wear 22 hours a day for the next 6 months. The roof of my mouth is changing so this will flatten it out a bit I hope.

congratulations to everyone celebrating milestones today!

In at 0749 requesting 1 single day of clean time and sobriety.
Keeping an SR tab open.
A bit of early morning shopping with a sober friend.
Taste is back....breathing much much better.

I'm definitely in for 24 more.

Venus sorry about your ankle. IcedVoVo sorry for your pain too. Hope you both heal quickly. Mags, thanks for the support.

A trip with my daughter to Isla Mujeres, July 21-27 to snorkel with whale sharks has been cancelled and won't happen till the same dates 2021. We were both so extremely excited about the trip. Oh well. I don't know that we can commit this far in advance. She is a teacher and there is no way to know if school will start or if she will still have a job or if she does where it will be and if she can get time off. I'm 73. If I get infected I may not be around. Oh well. Not a thing I can do about it except stay sober and find other things to do.

Mid-september I will go and pick up my puppy. She's 22 days old - 12 weeks by the time I pick her up in Tennessee. Very long road trip from upstate New York (no where near NY City). She's a darling. Can't wait to get her.

Great quote abcowboy!

Kenton: careful with those triangles, I hear that some can be obtuse.

Charon: cute pup, super cute actually. They get big, remember. Ours went from cute to enormous in about 10 months. She’s not two yet and weighs 76lbs. Very exciting for you to go and get her. Enjoy!

Cheers to everyone today! Hope you all have a decent day.

A shout out to the ‘glue’ ; those humble posters that check in each and every day. You are noticed, appreciated, and admired. Keep up the good fight!

Ha Ha Tired Carpenter!! Anyone who can make me laugh about triangles must be doing something right. And in the spirit of triangle humour, can I just say Charon, that your puppy is acute..ey. Ok, you get the point - I'm not angle-ing for complements, I just think my triangle humour has gone up a few degrees since I last attempted it.

I'm sorry. And this is why I will never be a good teacher. I'm supposed to be teaching my children educational stuff but instead I've spent the last 20 minutes trying to think of how I could work the word 'isosceles' into a triangle pun. It's really difficult. I don't think it can be done xxx

Does anyone else experience constant anger? Lately I’ve been angry with God, myself, my family and friends, co-workers and acquaintances, and at the world! I’ve been like this for a while now and I’ve tried prayer, therapy, talking to a trusted friend - I’m constantly ready to blow up! I don’t want to be like this anymore and it has been a huge stumbling block in my recovery. Anyway, I wanted to get this off my chest. Pray for me; I need it.

I deal with hating everything. I just hate everything which leads to anger. Then I get a lot of negative thoughts about my life and anxiety over stuff that shouldn't worry me. It was part of the reason why I got into drinking, but the drinking just made everything worse. I have less hate now but it does get to me at times when something bothers me. It is hard to stay positive all the time, but all I can hope for is that things will get better for me in the future.

Checking in for 24.
