Class of March 2020 Part 6
I had to Google Lilt and since it is a nice tropical soda I could go for that. BBQing is much more fun with a group of people. Then again I haven’t yet attended one without alcohol but I’ve found I enjoy food much more since I stopped drinking.
glad you are feeling brighter BE. Every day I wake up on the right side of the bed I count my blessings. I sleep on the right side of the bed so that is every day, lol.

I don’t see anything wrong with that commercial. Just every smiling and happy to see the Lilt man. Aging myself but we used to have a milkman deliver milk to our house every week. Most people bought directly from the dairy back then. I can’t remember the last time I even drank a cup of milk.

Hmmm, when I'm not having porridge for breakfast I have marmite on toast with a glass of milk. Lush. Marmite is the strangest food on the planet, who invented the crazy stuff? But I love it
Walked up a surprisingly high hill in the middle of the day when it was really hot today, with a friend. Shouldn't have done it really but once you've set if there's no turning back really,
Um bongo! There was a drink...also do you remember kiora? 'We all adore kiora'! The food on the 80's really was awful wasn't it 😂

Toast and milk for breakfast....sweet.
But you can keep your marmite on that side of the pond thank you very much.
I will convert these Americans to vegemite one by one.....only another 299 million odd to go!!!!

I have to say I am definitely team marmite, tasted vegemite once and it was very strange
As for 80's food, convenience all the way, pot noodle, super noodles, findus crispy pancakes, and smash. I loved the smash robots

Marmite, yeasty, salty, soy sauce flavor with the consistency of motor oil, sounds appetizing.
veggamite, because kind of popular in the 80’s here with Men at Works, Down Under. I think I tried it and remember it being salty. But then you Brits and Aussies probably hate peanut butter which I love.

I remember when we lived in Spain and dealing with food because the kids were used to what they liked. No peanut butter for sure. People looked at me like I was a lunatic when I asked for iced tea. My daughter and I adjusted much better than my wife and son. We went to a restaurant and my son wanted a glass of milk. They brought it out hot. Oh the travesty, lol. I developed an affection for Paella and Gazpacho.
I swear they don’t sleep in that country. Going out for dinner at 11:00 pm and up for work the next day. We had to learn that a meal there was a social occasion more than it was about eating. To this day we still eat a later dinner than most Americans. I had to adjust after moving back to the US. I didn’t notice how much I changed until then.

I love Spanish food. My favourite place is Spain, south coast near Barcelona and tarragona, if I have my way I'll end up living there one day
Morning all, tremendous storms over night but it doesn't seem to have shifted the heat or humidity that much. My lad's got his first friendly of the new football season today, that could be a hot one

That’s funny BE, I want to retire on the southeastern Mediterranean coast south of Malaga. Still have some savings to do to make that dream come true.
BE and Billy, please send some of that rain here. I feel like I live in the desert.
