That sounds like a fun idea Briansy, borrowing people’s dogs!

Ooooooo I am jealous.

Although I got major cuddles from Penny the giant red poodle nest door earlier, plus interacted (weird word, but no touching allowed) with my sweety little Elianna girl (1 yrs and 9 months....what a divine girl)....and their parents, god friends. Reminded me that there are people around me that I care about. So good in these times (for us in the US with so much covid).

That’s so lovely Suze
Children and dogs really know how to experience life in the moment
We can learn a lot from them about spontaneity and joy and love ❤️

Still here, Willow! In lockdown here again but it's not too bad. Just really really boring. Am still going on walks but not every day as the weather has not been great and the days are short. The good news is I have gotten the go ahead from my business partner to work remotely in Jan and Feb and so I am going to Hout bay in Cape town and get a rental property for two months. Lots of hiking and seeing wildlife and sun. It'll cost me a bit but I'll save on day to day living in London and mentally the idea of going to the most beautiful place in the world at a time I'd normally be gritting out the days in cold, wet, Britain (and probably also locked down) is making me very happy. Just going through process of trying to find accommodation now which is a full time job!

How are you Willow?

That’s wonderful news Briansy! Sounds really great!

I’m ok, although I had a blowout on the weekend and made myself feel dreadful and I’m back on day 4 again. I somehow let myself work way too many extra hours lately and then let work stress overwhelm me right when we had drinking visitors. And I let the AV get a hold of me. But I’ve beaten it off with a big stick, and am back on the right track again, with a couple of lessons under my belt. Mainly about not letting my self care slip and not giving in to pressure to do too many work shifts. So there is a positive lesson from it all.

Ah man, sorry to hear it Willow. I don't think _not_ getting back on the horse is ever an option for either of us. Glad you're back on it and it was a short blip. I can't believe all of this time accrued is for nought. It isn't.

You’re right, it’s not for nought, we’ve learned tools along the way to help us stay sober. It will stick!

Thanks Dee
I hope you’re having a good weekend. I think we’re in for a HOT summer if this last couple of weeks is anything to go by

How're you doing Willow? I'll have completed 1 month at the end of today after another slip a while back. I'll take it. Hope everyone is well.

Things are really kicking off in the UK currently! I got back to Ireland for Xmas just in time.

I am thinking of getting a puppy. Looking online for Cocker Spaniels and Working Labradors. That'll help me not push the self destruct button!

Hi guys
Sorry I was MIA for a while there.
I’m back on track and have a new job which is such a relief. My old job was just way too stressful!

I hope you’re all doing ok, happy and sober and well.
2021 is going to be a better year, I’m sure
