Just back from my morning meeting. Shared again.
Alanis Morisette is coming to Dublin in October 2021 but most of the tickets were sold out. The only ones available were €183. But I said screw it, I'll buy one. After all, think about how much money I'll save in the next year not drinking.

Good morning,
I’m just checking in on what will be my new day one. Got sucked back in to the vicious cycle and drank 7 days in a row. Decided to confess to my husband last night so I could put an end to this. He was disappointed in me, I got upset and drove off (not the proper way to handle emotions
I thought he’d be a little more supportive since I was trying to be truthful, but I think he doesn’t understand why I don’t just quit. If it were only that easy....
I’ll be visiting July class, but I still check in here to see how you’re doing.

Hey Jewel, sorry to hear about this. I've always thought we had something in common in regards to spouses. We've hidden drinking from our spouse. And I continue to be amazed at how my wife could not know at the time. I mean we do share a bed and the vodka smell had to be bad. Anyway, I'm sure you two will work it out and everything will end up being even better.
It has gotten quieter in here. I'm on day 41. I question any pain or illness as being in my mind as a way to get me to drink. I know the mind is an amazing thing, but sometimes the pains really do feel real

Max-I considered that my wife might have just not said anything, but I don't think that is possible with her. Never bites her tongue in regards to anything. It's actually a blessing to never wonder what she's thinking. Never have to sleep with one eye open

Day 40 in the books. Had my best round of golf ever (79) early this morning....then finished day with a great p90x chest&back workout.
Court date is upcoming on 23rd, but focusing on what I can control. Studying for personal trainer certification, Zoom AA meetings, reading, meditation, working out, & golf keep me busy.
Stay safe & sober friends

Just finishing up day 19. It’s 5.30pm and I didn’t sleep well last night so I’m yawning my head off already but it’s a bit early to go to bed lol
