Thanks for all the support. Very nice to find here this morning. I know you're right, too. People have all manner of horrible consequences for drinking. Losing relationships was the worst part for me, I think.
It's great to see you posting Wisc. How are you feeling? I hope you're getting a little better every day.
It's lovely to wake up feeling good at the beginning of a long sober day. I do not miss drinking at all.
Happy day to all, or sweet dreams if you're on the other side of the world.

checking in...best I've felt in weeks during morning...found a bedbug arrgh... I named it Gregory!!! Six months a go had extermination. If not one thing it's another...but sober for a bright warm morning.
It's beautiful here, too. It was almost 80 degrees today. I'm still avoiding people other than family, but I'm outside a lot walking the dog and doing yard work.
I think it's great that people like Wisc's apt. manager and shop keepers and such are being careful. Where I live, they are not being nearly so careful and it's scary.
I've got four weeks today! It was a great day, and I think I'm finally starting to feel better.
See you all tomorrow!

Congrats on 4 weeks Karen, keeping close to family and avoiding others is the best you can do right now. Folk in our part of the world are on the whole behaving well, but it is getting frustrating now after 7 weeks and being told it's not ending any time soon. And even once lockdown is over, we will have restricted contact initially. Oh well, we are alive and well and we can pay our bills. We have little to moan about compared to some others.
