Morning.
Going to trim the last third of the bittersweet today. Then it can die in the heat and sun for a lot of days. I want it very dead before I put it on the brush pile. I want no chance of any of it catching root.
After that I want to take my morning bike ride. It seems to be helping my knee so I want to keep up with it. After that lunch and a nap. When I wake from that I hope I'm in a better mood.

Maximus you never get Kicked out the Undies - you become an Undie-graduate and able to join the Overs! Though of course, the undies appreciate all the support an Undie- graduate can still offer. Welcome to the club.

Just finished my morning bicycle ride. Wanted to get it in while it was (sort of) cool. Got the bittersweet all trimmed except across the very top. My son has my ladder so that will wait till I get it back. Today, once the dew on the grass dries, I'll mow.
I was able to get a refund on the airline ticket for the cancelled whale shark snorkeling trip because they changed the flight times too much. Trip was cancelled anyway but better I have the money than just a credit toward a trip. I'm now seeing if the trip will issue a refund on the deposit, or if I have to make a claim with PayPal, or use my trip insurance. They are hoping to go on the same dates next year (Jul 21-27) but neither my daughter nor I can make a firm committment that far in advance.
The encroachment/trespass on the back of my property ha been resolved without animosity or needing to escalate. Very happy about that.
All in all, things are going well. Hope everyone else is experiencing things going their way too.

empty feeling
tremors
tired
sad
Have a Dr. appt. tomorrow at the VA. My departed friend's sister is giving me a ride.
Need to discuss meds for blood pressure, diabetes, tremors.
Slight thoughts of drinking but haven't entertained them for more than a few seconds
I don't want to sleep another day away but it looks like it
Well lunch soon and lay down for an audiobook

Hello everyone,
I have not been in this group much, but definitely will be more present over the coming weeks.. I am checking in for 102 days sober. That is very much a personal best for me. It felt sort of emotional getting to 100 days. I actually felt good about myself. That feeling is something which alcohol took away for many years. Being, and staying sober is incredibly empowering. Now just getting some sort of employment would be incredibly helpful. The whole covid thing has been pretty rotten for my line of work...

Congratulations EE on hitting 100+ days! It's good to see you back and hope to see more of you. The COVID situation had been economically hellish for a lot who haven't been affected health wise, and it is going to be a struggle. At least it will be easier to deal with the situation sober. I truly hope something comes up for you soon.
Wisc, I hope you're feeling better today, I guess 'feeling' anything is a novelty once we stop drinking, and we have to learn to be 'in the moment' with our feelings rather than hide from them. I promise they get easier to accept as your sobriety lengthens. I'm glad you have a good doc there to help you.
