Hey IP great to hear from you and wonderful news that you're happy and doing so well.

Hiya Wolfie, good to hear you are keeping well

Love the smell of baking break Andy, I'll be around for cinnamon rolls with my coffee!

All good in Tootsville, hubby helps with cooking and we alternate making the morning coffee. We both get out and exercise daily. I thought being together so much would be more of a challenge but we have been respectful to give each other space when we need it. We also show our appreciation for the other being there. I feel so for my mum and others who are alone through this.

Be safe

Morning Overs

Good to hear from you Inpar, pleased all is going well x

Toots, sounds like you and Mr. T have got it sussed. We have ‘me’ time too.

Andy, I love the smell of baked bread..and the taste, funnily enough!

Hi Wolfie

PJ, I think people are drinking more at home in England too.

It’s a beautiful sunny day here, I’m going to have a walk in the garden before I go scatty.

Have a good Thursday my friends, take care, stay safe. xxxx

Great to see you InPar! I am happy life is treating you well!

My father in law's nursing home is being hit with Covid, and he is running a fever and has a cough. The family briefly Skyped with him yesterday and he does not look good. He should get results back this week. Fingers crossed, as he is in a high risk category.

Be safe all!

Good morning, Overs!

IP, great to hear you are doing well! It sounds like your life is clicking into place.

Wolfie, always good to have you stop by.

SG, so sorry to hear your FIL is ill. The covid situation in nursing homes and other congregate living is a very sad story that is playing out across the country. So far we are ok though it’s a daily risk even as we stay 100% on campus.

Mags, a garden walk sounds lovely!

Andy, I can almost smell the baking bread here - would love some :-)

PJ, not surprising when heavy drinkers use more since it becomes a coping mechanism (or perhaps more accurately an avoidance method). People here who were already, imho, drinking too much are now getting it delivered. Sad!

Toots, great to hear that you and Mr Toots are doing so well! Since I never met Mr Toots I can’t speak from experience but knowing you and your irrepressible spirit I am not surprised

Hi to all and have a good one

Thanks for checking in, IP! Sounds like you're in a good place these days.

Star, sorry to hear about your FIL. Hope he's able to shake it off.

Our family got a nice surprise from my Mom's nursing home yesterday. We still can't see her in person, but this is the next best thing:

Have a Thunderous Thursday, overs!

Morning Overs

Star, all the best to your father-in-law. xx

FBL, lovely photo of your mum and the kind gesture from the home.

Andy, I thought nothing less about your bread! You’ll be making more then?

Mr. Mags made some naan bread to have with our curry and it was a success, it looked real and tasted real good!

I’m weary this morning, had a horrible dream about ‘you know what’ (virus) must’ve been on my mind for some reason.

Have a Good Friday my friends xxxx

Star, I hope your fil improves, it's a terrible situation.

Many care homes in the U.K. have had multiple deaths from covid, where staff have not had ppe or testing and it has spread. I'm so glad to be out of that business, as it would have been awful to have to deal with this situation.

FBL so glad you get to see your mom even virtually, and see that she is doing ok.

Sass, I think of you often these days and send positive thoughts that your residence stays safe.

Good morning everyone

I'm struggling a bit with my lack of productivity. Yesterday I just couldn't manage to get work done and every task felt insurmountable. I'm also perpetually exhausted, despite doing the same amount or less than I usually do. I am trying to go easy on myself but I do find it hard when I don't feel like I'm achieving anything, and yesterday evening my partner eventually had to tell me, gently, that maybe I should stop working and have some down time.

I decided to make banana bread. Not my fave but it felt good to make something and my partner loves it. Sounds like lots of us are on a baking spree! (Mags - I have to try homemade naan!)

Love to everyone with family and friends affected by CV - this is such a rotten time. I hope they get better x

Saw a security guard outside my local small shopping mall. Wearing a mask....whilst massaging his feet- shoes removed. Guarantee no sense in the cleansing regime there.

SG, congrats on 5 years sober!

My Rock Tracks project is moving along. Still a lot of research to do, but I'm lovin' it! Business is booming too! A lot of people are stuck at home, so they are ordering more books.

Have a Fabulous Friday, overs!

Great picture of your Mom FBL! I am also glad that your books are still selling well. What is the rock tracks project? Sounds like something in my wheelhouse. Thanks for the congrats.

Andy, I love homemade bread. Glad it came out well.

FIL's fever broke and he has a little bit of an appetite, so that is positive news. We are hoping he had a flu case instead of the virus. Thanks to all for the well wishes.

Be safe all!
