Morning Overs

Itchy, good video. I’m full of admiration for companies making masks and other vital equipment for the people. I chuckled at the gloves/condom quip. True though!

SE, don’t forget to breathe.

You too Suze, breathe

I found out through the asthma, how important it is to breathe (and keep calm when I couldn’t) and concentrating on my breathing can help me ‘breathe in calmness....breathe out stress’...it’s vital to our wellbeing to breathe and breathe well.

Happy Easter Sunday my friends. Take care and stay safe. xxxx

In the 1800 vulcanised rubber condoms were reusable. Just saying!

Hello and happy Easter to everyone celebrating

I'm not religious but will take any excuse to feel a bit special. I'm going to get a little bit dressed up and cook like crazy. Can't wait for my massive roast dinner and coconut cake.

Love to you all. Grateful for you x

One of the bright spots these days is that gas prices are the lowest they've been in decades. I filled up at 99 cents per gallon yesterday!

My Saturday morning online recovery meetings are really cookin' these days. We had about 12 of us yesterday and we all got to share about our different pathways to recovery. Really good stuff!

Have a Happy Easter, overs!

Yes, Mags, breathing appropriately is a huge stress reliever!

Andy, when I read your brief message every morning, it leaves me feeling calm and “Oh, that’s right, it will be ok today”

Toots

Hi Purps, Sophie, FBL, Itchy, Suze, SG, Dee and all of you

Morning Overs

It’s a bit colder weather here today.

FBL, our fuel prices are 4 times the cost of yours. glad your online Saturday meets are going well.

Sassy is sassy kitty enjoying having you in your apartment all the time? My cats are loving it....thing is they think I’m there just to serve them... it’s a cats life.

Mr. Mags’s hair grows really fast and if he ruffles it up he looks like Einstein he could use his clippers though he usually goes to barbers, but up to now he thinks it’s funny. I said he can use my hair bands if he wants.

Take care and stay safe on the mindful Monday , my friend xxxx

Hi Sophie :-)

Purps, yes that’s appropriate

SG, I hope you have a great week and stay safe

Mags, perhaps you could give Mr Mags a perm . Sassykitty likes me being home except for the recliner. She used to have it all to herself when I was out. Now we take turns - though I am big enough to kick her off

Andy, good morning and I’ll have that cup of Joe :-)

Have a safe Monday to all

Got to talk with Mom on the phone yesterday. A second staff member has tested positive for the virus, but none of the residents have caught it yet. She's in good health and good spirits, which is nice.

Today marks my parents wedding anniversary (it would be 63 years now). Mom said she thinks about Dad a lot this time of year. Here's the photo that appeared in the local newspaper at the time:

Mags,
Yes good folks come out of the woodwork if the opportunity arises. We just need to give folks more opportunities to be of service. You make proud of your positive attitude in the face of adversity for a basic I take for granted. Thanks for reminding me by your grace under pressure.
Weather here is 65-70 degrees last week with clear skies all the time. Then it dropped below 28° yesterday and we got snow all yesterday and today. It’s 21°F now at 10pm, 16° F in the morning. My hair started out in January with a military high and tight at the AF Base barber shop. Now it’s just gotten sloppy so I trimmed it all up on my neck and around my ears, and did the nose ears beard and Stache all trimmed up now. But we’ll have to pull out the haircut set soon for my SH to really trim it right.

Toots,
Vulcanized??? Did they say treaded for your . . . . .

Sophie,
Nothing wrong with having fun with good folks!

FBL,
Yeah gas prices ARE great! You have the voice to MC anything and pull it off! Don’t like the sound of the staff testing positive. I hope it passes your mom by. Beautiful pic of your folks. Did your FIL get Hogan’s Heroes jokes all the time?

Purp,
Hey!

Sassy,
X2 on Andy. Perm???

Star,
You have great week too!

Purp,
Yeah, who are we kidding?

Hi Overs!

I've totally messed up my body clock. I've been taking naps during the afternoon and now I don't get sleepy until 1 or 2 in the am. Just like when I was working second shift.

Sending hugs to you all.

Morning Overs

Hi least

FBL, such lovely photo of your mum and dad. They look so happy ❤️

Itchy, yes, it really is good too see people coming together. I have a few blips (especially if I cough or my temp is up a bit, or fancy a drive and can’t) but I figure I’ll put this year down to experience and ride the storm. Though I may moan a bit about some of the bumps.

The sun is out and the birds wasn’t half making a racket with their bird song earlier, I’m sure one was out of tune! Then again I’ve run out of bird food, only got suet fat balls left, the blackbirds gave taken to eating stray cats cat biscuits. So they’re probably yabbering at me.
I must order some online.

Have a ‘tuned-in’ Tuesday, my friends, take care and stay safe. xxxx
