24 more please. Very very stressful weekend. I have been SO tired, it’s affecting caring for my children. Husband is on his computer any chance he gets so that means taking care of, cooking, schooling, bathing, wiping their butts, all the things I need to do to continue to take care of my girls falls 95% on me. It’s exhausting.
We went to the Penn State Hospital yesterday for a well check visit. Since it’s a teaching hospital we see a resident Doctor first, then our normal doctor. Resident doc was saying that the main hospital had NO covid tests, they were short on masks, and they already had five people in the icu on ventilators but cannot test them. This blew me away. Crazy crazy times that even hospitals don’t have the tests!!
Take care of yourselves today. Congratulations to everyone celebrating milestones today! Including me

We have new roads to tread. We are in many different positions when it comes to this pandemic. It affects each of us so differently but we are in this together. While its challenges are many, and its impact profound for many, this pandemic challenges us to be better human beings.
A Prayer in Times of Pandemic
May we who are merely inconvenienced
remember those whose lives are at stake.
May we have no risk factors
remember those who are most vulnerable.
May we who have the luxury of working from home
remember those who must choose between
preserving their health or making their rent.
May we who have the flexibility to care
for our children when their schools are closed
remember those who have no options.
May we who have to cancel their trips
remember those who have no place to go.
May we who are losing our margin money
in the tumult of the economic market,
remember those who have no margin at all.
May we who settle for a quarantine at home
Remember those who have no home.
As fear grips our country
let us choose love.
During this time when we cannot
physically wrap our arms around each other,
let us yet find ways to be the loving embrace
of God to our neighbors.
Amen

I'm sorry things are so hard right now. Is there anyway he can help more is he is working from home now? This is such a tough time for all of us. A coworker of mine used the phrase, "have grace with yourself" and it has really stuck with me.
We all need grace right now, with ourselves. It's okay to be tired- everything you are feeling is okay. I do believe in a few weeks we will have adjusted to things, at least better than we have now.
I know week 1 of becoming a homeschooler was super hard over here- my boys are 5 and 8 and they were fighting every chance they could get. It's exhausting...
I hope you can find some time to yourself either after they go to bed or early morning.
Another 24 please, I’m happy to be on day 22
So I made it through 3 weeks and I’m starting week 4 sober today.
I’m so grateful to not be worried about running out of alcohol like some of my former drinking buddies are...
Stay safe and sober everyone
Love to everyone ❤️
