I'm sure I'll hear from my nephews about funeral arrangements....I haven't heard much about COvid funerals....well that's kind of morbid....

I am doing well today...my psych. appt. went well...lowering an anti-depressant and an anti-anxiety med. So the mental side of things are improving greatly too. The lighter and warmer it gets sure helps.

27 weeks sober today yay 162 Days.
And now I can say tomorrow is the big "59" whoot whoot

It’s me ....

I’m checking in for another 24 hours please 😷

Congrats to all the milestone achievers !!!

Sending thoughts and prayers out to everyone
while we all struggle to deal with the coronavirus
and try to maintain some normalcy right now.

I live in Indiana and the positive cases went from
365 on Tuesday to 667 today. It’s scary all around
and this virus has no boundaries.

Stay indoors, safe and most of all healthy !!!!

We had a serious concern here....my husband and I....and he had one of those appts today and I am happy as a clam. So is he. s xx ❤️
We took my father to the hospital today, as per the doctor's recommendation. They didn't do much I think, just checked his vitals, and told him to go to a dentist for his tooth. We could not accompany him inside the hospital because of the restrictions, and I don't think they really cared to do anything because they have a poor reputation. They are only worried about the virus. Anyway, he seems to be a little better, but mornings are difficult for him due to his low energy. Going to try and get his tooth extracted, he just needs to get his medication adjusted before the tooth is pulled, but his appt. is not until next week to see that doctor.

Sorry you lost your BIL. We have the same concern with my father, an infected tooth that needs to be pulled, minus the C.diff.

Its like a different world out there now, cheap gas, little traffic, and everyone is wearing a mask. Scary times, stay safe.
Checking in for 24.

Wisc.,
So very sad to hear of your BIL’s passing. My prayers to everyone whose lives he touched and who loved him.

I’m in a very frustrated mood. I just don’t understand any logical reason why our nurses, doctors, tech’s, everybody working so hard for the sick, STILL don’t have the protective gear!! 👩🏼*⚕️

We have 3 nurses in my home group. Why U.S.Govt ... WHY?

In for my next 24 ....

Our country gave away tonnes of supplies before this outbreak went nation wide, and now there are rumors of rationing supplies

The prayer that keeps coming to me this morning is this.

"I asked for strength that I might achieve;
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but everything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;
I am, among all people, most richly blessed."

Attributed to an unknown Confederate soldier
Love this Kris, thanks for sharing.❤️

These words stand out for me.

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but everything that I had hoped for.

Wisc, my condolences for you and your sister and family.

1NC all the best for your interview!

Bobbi, it is so frustrating the medical staff not having enough ppe. I think this virus just bowled the world over and was well ill-prepared. Prayers for all the wonderful people on the ‘front line’ ❤️

24 more please
