SnoozyQ Had to google bottleo! Got it. Kind of punny you can get discounts for stores named AA smartfuel!

Here present stable and sober requesting 24 hours of sobriety @ 0745!

Sad news from my sister. Her husband died. He was battling Claustridium difficile infection. He had been hospitalized for two weeks and finally his heart/lungs stopped. Sadly, because of the quarantine she couldn't visit him. She has her two grown sons and family to help her.

I have a psychriatrst videolink appt. soon. These video appts. started before the lockdowns. They sure help with not having a car, and even arranging rides.

Talked to my grandson for his 3rd birthday.

Enjoying the warmer weather overnight.

I have a lot of food thanks to my neighbor and Oshkosh Community food pantry.

No start to baseball. Bummer.

Keeping close to SR and recovery today.

Wisc, I'm very sorry to hear the news about your brother-in-law. I'm glad your sister has help through this time.

I did a virtual happy hour yesterday with my office team. Nearly everyone held up a beer or wine so it was interesting. A lot of comments made about how much more many seem to be drinking during this time (and isn't it cringy when someone says they may end up an alcoholic). Yeah, you just might. I remember it starting for me when I began to use alcohol in part to cope with stress and anxiety, and I know where that ended up.

24 strong please.

24 more please, Dear God.

With all that is going on in the world today, help me to live in the manner in which you have placed on my life.

The prayer that keeps coming to me this morning is this.

"I asked for strength that I might achieve;
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but everything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;
I am, among all people, most richly blessed."

Attributed to an unknown Confederate soldier

Thinking about a lot of different things ...................

The closings of liquor stores, ( a good thing in my mind. However what will happen to the many aalcoholics who will go into withdrawal and need to go to the ER. I hope that they find the help they need.

I have been calling and trying to touch base with many of my friends from aa, especially those newbies who need help to stay sober.
