It's not easy to say if you had the corona virus or not, OOTT. Silver lining, you might be immune.

I'm trying to write. Unsuccessfully. There must be something in the water.

That's what I was thinking too! It's possible that I'm indestructible!

(Well, except for the three or four years when booze almost killed me!)

If anyone suspects they may have COVID19 please think about taking 2 weeks off, even if you feel better.

I know thats a tough call but hey you may be stopping the spread.

Dee, just fyi my office has been closed for weeks. I'm only "working" from home and I'm not going outside, not even to take a walk.

We consulted remotely with a doctor who confirmed I likely have a mild case of covid which seems more and more likely to me as I now have low fever, cough, shortness of breath and this is day 5 of not being able to smell anything. He said to stay home and not to get tested unless I start to have more severe symptoms, like difficulty breathing. Yesterday I took a sick day, today I'm "working" as I have several calls scheduled I wanted to be a part of, but just a few more hours and then I can rest all weekend.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes I hope you are all doing well

Oh and:

FIVE MONTHS TODAY!!

Hi Suze! How are you today? Leonie is vegan so I had another amazing vegan meal tonight. 4th night this week. I buy the groceries and do the washing up, she does the cooking. I also get delivery takeaway if she is too tired to cook. I'm eating like a king!

That's awesome.

We are sick from the fumes from the floors in the other half of the house....3 days now.
But this too shall pass.

Getting awesome turkeyburgers tonight....fantastic place, best quality food with stacks of green and mushies and stuff.

(And I get a night off cooking, so ).

That's great Suze and Briansy. In our house I do all the grocery shopping, and whatever cooking gets done is done by me (the past few days, that is not much as I haven't been well, but before that I was cooking a lot.) Bf pitches in on dishes, brings up the newspapers and packages from downstairs, and coordinates restaurant delivery orders when I don't cook. He also brings me coffee in bed every morning (although I set it up the night before, so all he has to do is press the button.) This seems to be working for now, although I'd like to be cooking again more soon. I'm also really missing the housekeeper, I do daily upkeep and tidy things up a lot but we need to do a thorough clean of the apartment, and I haven't really been well enough to think about it. I keep trying to tell myself I just need to get better and then I'll worry about all the rest of it. I want my sense of smell back!

Absolutely the cleaning can wait!!! s

I love your division....we have a lot of the same....I do more on the house and shopping and gardening and bills stuff, and Nick works FT and I do not (work outside of the home currently). I do all of the cooking too, usually 6 nights a week. And Nick makes the bed every morning.....that is lovely.

I just found this on Google for you....I was thinking there must be things you can eat right now that would work better....

"Try eating more cold foods such as yogurt, cottage cheese, or a sandwich because cold food usually doesn't have a strong smell. Try eating with plastic utensils if your food tastes like metal."

Suze the turkey burger place sounds delicious with mushies and lots of greens! Yum!

Briansy it sounds like the lifestyle with Leonie and Dave and the delicious vegan food is lovely

TA how are you going? I hope you’re feeling ok. Sending you a big hug of support. My friend is going through chemo at the moment for breast cancer. She’s isolating at home and her hubby is doing a wonderful job of looking after her. Sounds a bit like your hubby. I hope you’re ok

Tap, Lixie, Tiles, how’re you all going?

I’m on day 34. I’m just having coffee and about to join a zoom exercise class. I’m trying to do at least 3 a week if I can....
Happy Saturday morning from Oz, see you all a bit later

YES... love Bareburger Suze! There is one right near me. I like to go there with my vegan friend because they have options for both of us. Enjoy!
