Hey everyone, tomorrow is friday the 13th! Today seemed like it was the 13th because of all the bad news:
virus spreading
schools closing
stock market crashing
1 hr line ups at the grocery store
hockey cancelled
basketball cancelled
baseball postponed
cancelled St. Paddy's parade
Anyway, I'm at home working on drywall. Father is behaving.
Stay safe out there! Social distancing is the latest safety measure!
Checking in for 24.

Hi,
I have been all out of sorts the last couple of days. Got about 4 hours a sleep a night. And yes it has everything to do about the virus and the political person who I can’t discuss here on SR. I’ve allowed this fear of the Virus and IT to “crash” onto MY side of the street!
A good nights sleep tonight will do lots to help. And praying there is closure coming in November.
I’m in for my next 24 ...

11:47 pm in CA and checking in for another 24. I am exhausted, but cannot fall asleep. The Coronavirus definitely has me anxious. We are wondering if schools will close. Today all gatherings over 250 people were canceled in CA, but not school. My daughters are both upset because spring sports seasons are more than likely going to be canceled, all of the big track invites already have been.
Is anyone else feeling kind of surreal at the magnitude of the cancellations and possibility of getting sick?
I should probably just take a few breaths and try to relax, not working well tonight though.

I'm sure my dog will love it when the self isolating starts, Mags! As you probably know, the Government announced yesterday that the schools will not be closing yet so it's business as usual today. School children up and down the length of the UK are NOT happy. Hope you're ok Mags, we should celebrate the end of coronavirus .... Whenever that may be..... By meeting up at some halfway point between you and me. I'm guessing in the Midlands somewhere. Imagine when this is all in the past? How happy and relieved we will all be. That day will happen, this will pass.... Just have to stay strong until it does. Thank goodness we're all sober. Hidden advantage of being an alcoholic in recovery. No matter how scary life becomes, I can always say, 'could be worse'. Could be drinking.
