thank you xx they are gummy sweets covered in sugar. Extremely unhealthy and make children hyperactive! Better than a bottle of wine though

Hello everyone. March it is for me. At least the dreary winter months will soon come to an end and the trees are starting to bloom. Signs for hope. I love being sober, I'm just not very good at it... xoxo

Great idea. The way I see it is that we are ill. I have to avoid gatherings so early on as I am ill and will become more ill if I attend and drink. So you're not lying and you are protecting yourself.

They aren't too good for blood sugar levels either!

I was addicted to them at one time. During drinking binges a few years ago I was sometimes eating a large packet of them each day (the large Haribo Starmix packets that used to cost something like £1.50) in place of eating properly. After a few years of being prediabetic I suddenly became diabetic. I cut out the Haribo sweets and my blood sugar level fell back into the prediabetic range...

oh I empathize I know I shouldn't as am also pre diabetic. It really was a one off. The large bag of the fizzy ones only cost £1 here so very hard to resist Glad you got your sugars under control. I will start eating better tomorrow.

So ready for daylight savings and some nicer weather. Being cooped up makes it more difficult for sure.

Hello everyone.
Hi Dee
Day one is the worst. One day at a time. You'll feel much better tomorrow.

I hope sleep will come for you but don't panic if it doesn't Caretaker - things get better after day one

So, I didn't sleep at all last night. It is going to be a rough day at work. At least I'm not hung over I guess.
