Hi to all
Sending positive thoughts from here too SE.
Wow, FBL, I read that link about the flood, it must have been terrifying. I'm so glad Liz has returned to the group, it sounds like she is needing to have friends just now. She may be like me, someone who prefers to deal with personal issues and then reach out, though I am learning - especially through SR - that it's better to share even a little at the time, it helps to reduce the stress.
Sorry SassyKittys internal alarm is set too early Sass.

For those who don't know the story...
My Dad owned a pop-up tent trailer, which we hauled around the country on summer trips. In June of 1972, we were on our way back to Minnesota from out west. We were camped in a very scenic area of the Black Hills in South Dakota. My Dad wanted to stay a couple more days, but my older twin brothers were pestering him about getting back home for their Little League baseball game. I still remember the night we left. It was raining pretty hard and Dad wasn't thrilled with having to drive in it. The date was June 9, 1972, and just a few hours after we left, the flash flood hit and devastated the campground area and there were some fatalities. Not saying for sure we would've been among them, but it would not have been a good situation. Thanks in large part to my brothers, we made it out just in time.
Have a Thunderous Thursday, overs!

FBL, that’s amazing! I have one late member of my extended family who had a number of unbelievable misses. In one, he was in his usual place in the first train car on his way home from London to Tunbridge Wells. He suddenly had an urge to move and before the train left the station, he got up and moved a couple of cars back. Everyone in the first car was killed in the great train wreck (quite a few years ago!).
Andy, love that video . I have never seen/heard of Benny Hill. That started my morning with a big smile!
Have a good day to all.

Just checking in quickly to say hello and hope you're all having a good day. I'm going away for a couple of weeks on Saturday to get some rest so may not be able to pop in.
Love to you all, thanks for being a supportive, positive place to be.

We had a pop up tent camper also FBL! We survived some crazy weather, and left one campground just before a tornado funnel was spotted, though thankfully did not touch down. I think I have more fun thinking back on those times than actually living them at the time.
Have a good vacation sobersophie!
I get to enjoy the middle school production of Mary Poppins tonight, as my daughter is Stage Crew coordinator.
Enjoy the day all!

I think I have some pictures of our old tent trailer. Will have to dig them out.
I have another check-up with the retina specialist today. Letting go of any outcomes and just taking it as it comes.
Have a Fantastic Friday, overs!
