I hope everyone is doing well. Congrats to all celebrating a milestone. I’m back to trying not to scratch!

Sorry to hear about your shingles diagnosis Delilah1 
. I've heard shingles isn't a nice thing to get. However for everyone else here, there is a shingles vaccine you can get. As for me, I had a better day dealing with my sewerage problem, getting closer to the end. Ripping out pipes and cutting holes in the wall is a real pain in the you know where!

Delilah, sorry to hear you have shingles, 
I’ve had it and the nerve pain and itching can drive you mad. I used Epsom salts bath, or aveeno oatmeal poured in the bath can help soothe your itching. (No medical advice) 
I also ended up getting a foam cream (for kids with chicken pox) which helped. Whatever you do....don’t scratch them...it’ll be a lot worse. (I’ve had it 4 times, usually gets me when I’m run down)

Oh D.!,
I didn’t know Shingles could happen on a young person. Really. My Dad had a really bad case and ended up in the Hospital. But he also had the in hi early 80’s and let thus “Rash” go untreated for too long.
I believe you caught it early and you very healthy. Still, I’m sending love & healing thoughts to you my dear friend!

I’m in for my next 24 too!
Disneyland was insanely crowded today. For all those that are familiar .... the public space out front of the Park and California Adventure was a giant WALL Of Bodies!! We arrived and got in a long ass line at 8:30am. The Park opened at 9:00am.
We literally got our AP’s scanned 8 minutes before opening. That’s so important because we wanted to get that Boarding Pass to Rise of the Resistance. People scream & holler when they get their Pass on their cell phones. We were one of ‘em! We got Boarding Pass 123. I don’t even think 5 minutes had passed before the loudspeaker announced the ride was sold out for the day.
Finally at 6:40PM our number came up and we were allowed to get in line. At 7:15 we were walking out. I LOVED IT!!! And that’s all I’ll say.
Now, tomorrow I’m sleeping in, will walk over when I’m ready. The guys are going to be at the Park for the opening at 9:00am.

Had appointment with surgeon that took up most of my afternoon. I told him again that I wanted that knee replacement I’ve been asking for! Once again, he reminded me that I’m too young, but I reiterated that I’m tired of the pain
He then talked back n forth w/ other doc he was with in medical lingo I couldn’t understand to conclude he will do it! Phew yes wow!! Amen Tentatively signed to have it done on 4/1
