Dee,
I didn’t even realize it was Fat Tuesday. None of my [former] drinking buddies have contacted me, which is interesting because none of them know that I’m sober. Oh well, I wouldn’t be going out anyway.
Happy day, all!
Another 24, please

Every now and then we get a day with no specific anniversaries.
However, I am missing so many....hoping people will msg me if I don't have their dates....I try to look them all up, but sometimes it doesn't work. s xx ❤️

2:19 pm in California and checking in for another 24.
It has been a trying day so far. I had been feeling tired and out of sorts for a week, and then the past two days developed a rash on my side that was itchy and felt like I was on fire inside, turned out to be shingles. While waiting for the doctor to come back with my prescription order I realized my cell phone was gone, I tried to find the location and it had been turned off and went straight to voicemail.
I was surprisingly calm. I called AT&T from the doctor and canceled my phone, then went back and forth about the insurance premium and getting a new phone. I decided to upgrade and get the newest iPhone. I decided the universe wanted me to have a new phone.
I hope everyone is doing well. Congrats to all celebrating a milestone. I’m back to trying not to scratch!

Greetings Maximus!
Delilah, so sorry you've got shingles. Hope you start to feel better very soon. And yes, obviously the universe decided to give you a little test so it chucked shingles and lost phone at you at the same moment but you aced it. You stayed calm and now you have a new phone. And shingles. These tests are never easy, are they? I have no doubt you will deal with shingles with your usual charm, positivity and grace but I'm sending you loads of love and healing reiki anyway xxx
Panic is so interesting. It can bring out the best and the worst in people. Lots of people in my tiny dot on the planet are panicking because children returned from a ski trip in Italy on Sunday and went back to school on Monday. Parts of northern Italy are now in the coronavirus lock down area but the ski group were staying 2 hours outside the lockdown area. The advice from the NHS and the school is to continue as normal but look out for symptoms. My daughter was on the ski trip and some parents are demanding that she and the other children that were on the trip be treated like lepers. If the advice was to self isolate, of course we would self isolate but that's not the advice. Not yet anyway. And it's a bit late now anyway because all the children and teachers that were on the trip have been in the school for the last 2 days. I understand the fear and anxiety. I'm frightened and anxious too. But there's nastiness appearing now and a suggestion that somehow this is all our fault because our children went on the ski trip. I'm channelling Delilah and remaining calm and reminding myself frequently of the serenity prayer. I will follow every guideline set down by the NHS, the government and the school but I will not start panicking about something I have very little, if any, control over. What's upsetting me most is my daughter and the other ski trip kids being ostracised. Like I said, panic can bring out the best and the very worst in us. A minute past midnight here so I'll grab my 24 hours now. Love to everyone and Kjma - I appreciated both scores for my rap!! Xxx
