I'm wanting see monster Zucchini and other garden pics pics as well Zura, but when I go to profile there are no pics there which could have a lot to do with my sketchy aptitude at navigating this site.

And as far as gardens go! I'd propogated a heap of succulent ground cover (mesembryanthemum )aka Pigs Face with all of its vibrant colour. I'd knocked it off from Newport Beach (only a tiny bit for propagation purposes ) and the stupid gardener mowed it all down without looking. I had a guard around it and everything.

After I'd screamed @&$!*# I started crying. I'd picked it the day I scattered my father's ashes into the Pacific Ocean where we fished. I'm trying to resuscitate the chopped remains now. They are going to replace it, but not quite the same.

Thank god I'm sober.

Thanks Zura, would love to see but ok if you can't.

I live in public housing and am trying to make it prettier. The Department of Housing do little and probably pay the gardeners $4 an hour! They have no incentive to do a good job. Bloody 'ell.

Zura if you go to your profile you should see 'edit your friends list' there somewhere on the right.

Click that and you can add people to your friends list

Hey. Day 59 here.

Steely-I was wondering if anyone would understand the alligator. That Gator's name is Albert and he is the mascot for the University of Florida, where my wife and I went to college. So yes, the F is for Florida, and in Florida, if there is a body of water, there is a chance that there will be a Alligator. There are Crocs in the US as well, but they are further west in the Louisiana area.

Zura-I would like to see what you are growing as well. My stuff is doing well in the pots, but I didn't bring them in last night and the sun is about to come up and the temp is around 32 degrees F. Fingers crossed. I have thought about other groups as well. Sometimes wonder if I will need this less as time goes on, and then I see a group I was in over 2 years ago, and they are still active, at least 3 or 4 of them. I don't know.

Not all are animals, but a lot are. Up where you are, it is the Ohio State Buckeyes. Down here, our big rival are the Florida State Seminoles. But there are lots of tigers and dogs and at Alabama, an elephant.

Of course, I knew Buckeyes, but I am still half-asleep this morning. Again.

An elephant.....oh wow.....the costume must be interesting. And heavy.

I'm going to Alabama. I love elephants and think they have beautiful eyes. Sheee, I just checked out alligators in Florida and they're climbing bloody fences. Hitchhiking on the highway. Backstroking in pools. Albert will have his day! Revenge for all those handbags and shoes sold in the Ritz. Respect.

Congratulations on 59 days bob.

Thank you Zura for inviting me to be your friend. Going now to check for your pics. When my garden becomes more of what I'd like it to be I'll post of mine.

I did say the succulents I propogated came from Newport Beach, where I "scattered my father's ashes."

I did not in fact scatter his ashes, my mother did, but did not invite me. I chucked in some tackle and said a few words to dad, but I did not scatter his ashes. Probably no one would remember me saying this, but didn't want to be seen as a fibber. In my head the tackle was sort of like his ashes. Got a bit lost.

Was thinking Venus what a monumental move you made in leaving for America. That was a massive shift. Seismic. More power to you Venus. ❤️

Onwards we push fellow travellers, and you say Red has returned Venus, but I can't find her. Hope you are doing ok Red.

Alligators and crocs will rule the world. They'll make a handbag out of us.

My love to all.

You know what Venus I've never seen snow. Only in pictures, movies, Santa christmas cards, etc. Sorry you are freezing, but I'm somewhat envious.

I do know you understand Venus. It's why you are so loved.

I'm trying resurrect the succulents, I'm told I have a green thumb, luck more than good management if you ask me, but hoping against hope.

Gardeners say they will replace them, but think it has a lot to do with him wanting to retain the contract. He's new. Cynic is my middle name. Spring forth you little succulent. It will happen. I can feel it in my green thumb.

Soon to bed.
Night all.

Bob - I can send you a friends request too if you would like? I hope your plants survive the cold. Re your other group, I hope we are all in touch as long as them. I did look into other threads but nothing jumped out, im a hermity type though and this is prob more then enough socialising for me.

Venus - Sending you warm hugs I too often reflect on your move, so brave and inspiring! Im an adventurer at heart but very rooted in my life. Maybe one day i will travel the world *sigh

Steely - You go girl *snap, snap, snap. Revive those succulents!! re coronavirus/my shorona, I had to read the comments to get why people are making that connection lolol Im so slow lolol. Alligators sound scary, not at all like Bobs friendly looking avatar.

I do not get it.....hmmm.....but I am always slow with these things.....oh no no no....I just looked that up....guys.....that is wrong to the nth degree. That should be taken off the internet.

Not our fault of course, but the people who made it have issues as far as I am concerned. xx

.....I am not adventurous at all Zura.
I hadn't been anywhere in 30 years.
I just knew I loved Nick, no matter how crazy it seemed to other people.
And I did not want to be near my family anymore, so that worked out well. xxxxx ❤️

Venus - the song itself is very wrong but most people dont listen to the lyrics, it has such a catchy tune. Understandable about moving away from family. A fresh start with someone you love & trust is a wonderful thing too, you deserve your happiness xxoo

I don't understand. What's wrong with My Sharona? The Knack were a good band. Is it on the internet or something? I seriously did not see it there (didn't look) or read any comments. Where do I go to find the comments? Where do I go to see it on the Internet?

It's a song not a virus. Maybe it's gone viral. Aaarrrggghhh! What have I done?!

Just about to put on some classical music and seek out your friend request Zura.

They made a parody song. Changed the lyrics to make it about the virus. Not my idea of good taste. s xx

As I said, not our fault....we weren't to know. xx

Sheeee, I'm always in trouble.

Went to your profile Zura and did not see your friend request. I saw you say you'd done it "the other way around", maybe that?

Please, tell me where I can find My Sharona and comments on the internet. I'm confused.
