Had to take a break. Felt like drinking a couple of days ago, but did not. Rationalisation is amazing. I played the tape forward, thought of you all, and pulled my bloody head in.

I am so glad I didn't. I know exactly how I'd be feeling today.

Stay safe and well everyone.

I hope you make contact Dave.

Steely - Needing a break is understandable we are still early days and these are particularly challenging times. Awesome job holding on and getting through it.

Hello beautiful Aussies.
I love you guys. s xx ❤️

And dear Dave.....come back and talk to us.....so much love. s ❤️

EDIT....the garden has begun. Slowly, because I have no potting mix and have to reuse old soil.
It is so mean.....the stores (like Bunnings) won't deliver it....they have lots, but want customers to come into the store. It feels immoral to me.

On Amazon potting soil is triple the price....I had to pay Aussie almost $20 a bag and it isn't arriving for two weeks because it isn't considered an essential.

Sigh.

Good Morning All,

Venus - Love you too lovely lady xxoo. That is just.....arrrgggg re your potting mix. That must be extremely frustrating and in a time when gardening is most important. Bunnings here wont deliver that sort of thing either....but will deliver some other things *eyerolls.

Im lucky because of the scale of things here i have to get truckload deliveries from a landscape supply business (WAY to expensive and impractical to get from Bunnings). I wish i could teleport you some

Steely - I hope your feeling better hun

Dave - So hope to hear from you soon. I miss my Friend from Florida.

I hope everyone else is ok and checks in as well

Hugs and love & kisses for all xxoo

I have complete faith you will make the very best of it. It is so impressive to see the creativity that all this is bringing out in people.

I am batting my exhaustion. Up since 5 and I haven't stopped. A tiny bit (of the garden done) out the front. Not happy with the colour though....I have a pink and white mini carnation on a red table....hopefully it will look ok. Not many options. I only got a few of the plants I ordered. xxxx

So much love dear Zura and Steely and Dee. s xx ❤️❤️

My brother (with schizophrenia) has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Doctor says he has 2-6 months to live.

The visus screws everything in terms of visiting him. Possibly his funeral.

We all die, I get it. I cry for him because he was never given a chance to live.

Life's cheap.

Oh my lord Steely, I am so so sorry, how devastating. There are no words i could say to ease your pain, so sad for you. I dont know if you have already had confirmation of visiting restrictions still being in place despite this new development, but if you haven't don't despair on that just yet. I believe the PM did say that there weren't restrictions in relation to visiting for compassionate reasons so there may be a chance special allowances could be made under these dreadful circumstances. Hugging you so tight.

Venus, they are just lovely

Thanks Dee. About to jump in a cab and go see my brother now. I'm in an F the virus state of mind. I can't leave him there without support. He would be so frightened.

No risk of drinking, but tobacco is another question altogether.

I'm not sure an impulsive visit is in either of your best interests Steely but I understand wanting to be there for your bro.

Make sure you take all the precautions - mask (make one) gloves if you have them, wash hands at an OCD level and decontaminate when you get back

All well and good to say eff the virus but your family doesn't need two funerals right now.

I will take care Dee. The doctor at the hospital said ok for 1 person to visit. I washed my hands constantly.

He looked so unwell.

Thanks for caring Dee.
