Well, I'm having a bit of a nightmare. I seem to be spending Valentine's afternoon trapped in a car park. Literally trapped. I parked my car and went into the supermarket to buy some food for the weekend. So far so normal. But when I came back out to the car park, a car has rolled into another car and is now blocking my car completely. There's no one in either of the other cars. All I can think is that the hand brake of one of the cars failed and it's rolled out of it's parking bay, crashed into the car behind and come to rest behind my car. I can't push it out of the way because it's kind of embedded a little bit in the other car and I don't want to make the damage worse. The lovely people in the supermarket have done lots of announcements asking the owner of the cars to return to the car park but so far no one has returned. I'm a bit worried because sometimes people use this car park when they're getting on the train so I have no idea how long I'll be trapped here for. And I need to collect my children in just over an hour. Eek. Nothing else for it. Might as well log in here, ask for 24 more hours and share a fairly terrible Valentine's joke. What did the stamp say to the envelope on Valentine's day? Stick with me and you'll go places. I did warn you it was terrible.... I'm silver lining this situation I find myself in. At least my car isn't damaged and there's actually worse places to be trapped. Far worse. At least if I get hungry there is a limitless supply of food in the supermarket. And I'm getting to meet and chat to lots of people. Everyone's very interested in this situation. People love out-of-the-ordinary stuff that doesn't actually affect them, don't they? Can't blame them. I'd be loving this too.... If I could drive away from it. Love to everyone xxx

I have the afternoon off and am enjoying it very much; just pottering around the house on a very sunny, chilly day. Had a big crisis this morning at work with some important data that suddenly became corrupted and inaccessible, so I had to write some code in a big hurry. It worked! Not fun to be under pressure like that, but fixing the problem made me look good...but will probably also make me Chief data fixer from now on .. no no! No. Next time I’ll have no idea and will defer to other potential data fixers.

Happy Valentine’s Day. I would like 24 more and a good movie after I get some physical activity in. You’re welcome to cook supper I am so happy to be home.
