Class of November 2018 Part 6
Happy 3 year!
I finally ran that half marathon I was training for. It was pushed back 18 months because of Covid. I did better than I thought I would finishing in an hour 56 minutes. I think might start training for a full marathon. No way could I have done this if I was still drinking.

Anyway, I still work the scheduled regional running events, tho. Great sport.

Hi I'm Ananda
My sobriety birday is in November of 2018, not sure of the exact date so I celebrate on the 28th. I'm glad to see a support thread I can begin to post to. I'm not new to SRbut have stumbled and fallen many times to this sobriety. I'm in this for the long haul and getting to know you all will bring me great pleasure.
I'm dreading Christmas eve with my family, but looking forward to Christmas Day with just my son. I'm dealing with some trash from the past right now, but I seem to have a new found laidback attitude toward the process. I'm generally in good spirits and that has everything to do with why i'm sober and how I stay sober.
Anyways, glad to meet you all and hope to post regularly

I am also doing great, I am about to head out for a 22 mile run. My first full marathon is October 2nd. I have come a long way since I decided to try running a mile after I wa sober for a few months.
