I have to share my victory here since I can't shout it out to the world! I'm the new treasurer for our AA group, and for the first time in a month the ledger balance and the bank's balance match! Now if it will only stay like this for two days until our business meeting...

Congratulations Coldfusion - you treasure amongst treasurers! I bet those books will keep balancing now you're in charge. I'm always in awe of people who are good at maths. Do you remember when I used to post my children's maths homework here for Goat's mathematical wizardry and expertise? I haven't needed to do that for a while. Goat's tuition on this thread was so good, my kids can work out their maths homework on their own now. And to think I thought this thread was just about helping me stay sober. Oh no. It's much more than that. Hope everyone is having a lovely Friday 😊. Sober weekends are the best Daisybelle7. We get to have fun and remember it all and not hate ourselves at the end of it. Infinitely better than drunk weekends. Love to everyone and 24 more for me please. See you all tomorrow xxx

I really wish you would ask Goat more maths and science questions kent.....physics is his genius area....it would help me out a lot....he is all sorts of wonderful but needs someone else to "teach". Asking a question around here means you better have time to stop for the answer cos it is going to be detailed.

thanks wiscsober - for the second time in a week my part of Oz got steady rain all night - more predicted today.
We can only hope it reaches the areas that really need it.
