Wisc, I think it was two years a student from U of M Duluth went home drunk one night. It was bitterly cold that night. She passed out on her front porch and froze to death. Yes, we’ve been lucky. I can “remember “ some pretty stupid things I did while I was drunk. Thanks for the reminder.
Today I’ll be sober for completely selfish reasons, myself. I do have nothing but sober wishes for all of us though.

Mentally all right...feel physically empty and jittery....congestion.
Going to Walmart for juices, ready to eat meals, OTC no alcohol meds just in case I'm in for round 3 of being sick.
Housekeeper I contacted didn't feel right on the phone so I'll look for someone else, another agency maybe.
I really like when I am in tune to my intuition. It's starting to force me to do some light cleaning.

today I’m at work dealing with all kinds of issues. IT and other logistic nightmares. I’ll be working until about 9pm. Have to host a dinner after the evening board meeting. I’m in charge of setting up the bar which I hate. But I know a drink will never lead to anything positive. So here’s to another 24.
